The hottest it gets is 160 degrees, my other heating pad seem hotter but this one is very comfortable. I can just lay it on my stomach and relax and if it gets to hot I can cut the degrees down a little. The only thing I don't like is it has a timer and it cuts the heating pad off every 24 min then I have to cut it on again.  Then after a couple times of that it will change the time to 60 mins. But you can not cut the timer off or decide how long you want it on for, that is the only most annoying thing. Everything else is perfect so far.

Set your degrees heating pad is wonderful, BUT!

This is a good size heating pad. I have leg and back pain. The heating pad gets pretty hot. It goes up to 160° and a timer that goes to 60 minutes. It does cut off at 60 minutes. 
It is a good size. It is 24" x 11 1/2" wide. It has plastic on the inside. It is a hard plastic, but does confirm to my legs or back for pain relief. 
It has a pretty long cord which is nice. The digital temperature read out is another plus. Easy to read.  It was a reasonable price. 
Overall I would recommend this heating pad.

Nice hot heating pad

I love that the temperature on this heating pad is regulated degree by degree.  Not just low/medium/high.  Plus this is the king size one.  I have two of the CARA heating pads that are regular size.  I definitely would order them again.

Best heating pad-Ever

I love It. It's not perfect, the cover slides off but it's large and I can get full relief for upper and lower back pain issues. It lets me lower or raise the Temperature without turning it off.

Great value

great size and this thing heats up quick! (great feature) but the major issue have is thought you could choose to set timer or leave on, did not realize would automatically shut off no matter what.....is great feature if you truly want that but I don't......am donating them to someone else and purchasing an older 'style' slide option for low, medium, and high choices.....

decent heating pad

It gets hot enough but the heating pad itself wads up inside the cover during use. It is poor quality. Cover is soft but keeps coming off.

This heating pad is a nice size and the timer function is nice. However, if you're buying this for the moist heat feature, I'd look elsewhere. The “sponge” insert is just a 8x11 piece of very thin felt and about 1/3 the size of the pad itself. Very disappointed as thats why I bought it.

Sponge insert???

The heating pad is plastic and is covered by a very thin blue felt fabric with a snap button on top. As soon as I lay down on it for my back, the button snap open and the cover slides down. Which makes the plastic heat pad poke and scratch your skin. It's annoying to constantly button it up to lay down on it again.
The good thing is that you can press the button on the control to choose your temperature. I can tolerate up to 140° when my back muscles are really stiff. It turns off automatically after a while though. It would help if the temp control Remote had a light up screen because I have to look at it with my phone light to adjust the temperature when it's nighttime, you can't see the numbers at nighttime.

Only worked for occasional use for about six months.  Now it starts to heat up when turned on and then gets a "EE" error and turns off.  This product will be going in the garbage.  I had my Sunbeam heating pad for over ten years and still have it but it only heats on low but at least it still works.  Going to replace this product with another quality sunbeam product.

Defective Product

I purchased this mainly because of the nice size however, after occasionally using it over a period of 2 months it stopped working! I would plug it in even tried different outlets and light would come on but none of the buttons would work, I had a small Sunbeam for years and it worked great just wanted a larger heating pad, will definitely go back to Sunbeam. Very disappointed with this purchase!!
