For Beginners

Steam wand and product are simple to maintain.

Flavor profile is rich and similar to high-end cafe quality.

Simple setup with minimal learning curve.

Gauge lacks numerical indicators, making it difficult to monitor pressure accurately.

The Casabrews 3700Gense espresso machine far surpasses my expectations. We've used it several times a day for the last 3 months and it's completely changed our coffee budget because we very rarely buy coffee out anymore. It's easy to clean, is ready to use quickly after being turned on, sturdy and quality materials, the foaming wand makes coffee house quality foam, and it produces a velvety delicious espresso shot every time. I got this for my wife for her Birthday and she is extremely happy with it. I would buy one again in the future.

Best Birthday Present!

www.casabrews.com

My son is so excited to take this powerful little machine back to college! It's easy to use and makes excellent espresso shots. An absolute great value and makes just as good of an espresso as the Breville Bambino at half the price!

Excellent!

I bought this item on Walmart's website where one can no longer find it. I like this espresso machine.; the 58 mm portafilter is great though I am curious to capacity of coffee grounds in grams it's double shot basket holds. I also purchased a Casabrews 58 mm bottomless portafilter from Target but it's ear's thickness was too thin to fit on this machine without leaking.

Dynamite!

Nice espresso maker! It makes two shots of espresso at a time. The steamer works well, I haven't been able to make perfect foam yet but that may be my problem. The instructions seem to be written by a non native English speaker, but they are understandable. I would buy this espresso maker again.

Good standard home espresso maker.

walmart.com

I'm absolutely a novice barista..... yet can still make an incredible latte! There's a bit of a learning scale, but after just a few cups, I feel pretty confident and don't have to keep
checking the directions. Speaking of directions-- there are LOTS. I was a bit intimidated until I realized they all said the same thing, just in
different ways. That was actually really helpful!

My favorite part of the machine is the milk frother. While other members of my family love coffee (and the lattes most of all), I drink more tea. I used some frothed milk to make chai tea, a vanilla steamer, and the best hot chocolate I've ever had. So it can do more than just coffee drinks!

The only negative I experienced was trying to get the espresso part in. It's still very difficult to twist into place, after about 20-25 uses. Not a big issue at all, just know you've gotta twist that thing pretty hard!

Even a novice can make a great latte!

So I preface this by saying that I am in no ways a barista. I like coffee and I've skimmed the many reviews on “pulling the perfect shot”.
Whatever that means. But I can tell you I know a good cup when I taste one.

This machine made me feel so fancy. And I love love love that they had the same directions like 4 different ways. Lol…I hate reading instructions. But I figured I must. They had one picture instruction deal, a book, and there are even placards on the machine. Pretty much all saying “hey you person who fails to read but complain that this doesn't work…take heed of these things”.
I needed that and was amused by it.

A couple of things I don't love but I have convinced myself they are staying true to maybe the true design of espresso, latte, and cappuccinos. You will not get a hunking big bethel gulp coffee mug under this thing. The largest size of any of the coffees you can make is not even 15 ounces.

And to be honest to my American eyes it looked like 5 ounces. Lol Oh well…if I'm really honest with myself which I tend to be…it's a treat, it's an experience. We honestly nurse a cappuccino, latte, or coffee past when it really is delicious because here in America we want
everything huge. So with that being the case I am okay with making more if I
want some.

This is a little more work then my regular coffee maker but i like it. I'll keep messing around with this and enjoying myself until I smarten up to the artistry of the barista thing.

Impressive..

HONESTLY, I NEVER HEARD OF THIS COMPANY. I MADE 2 CAPPUCCINOS
AND THEY WERE VERY GOOD. I DO NOT WANT TO SAY IT IS THE BEST UNTIL I USE IT A FEW TIMES MORE. I WENT TO SCHOOL IN ITALY AND THIS IS VERY CLOSE TO THE REAL MCCOY. I HOPE IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT ME. SO FAR IT IS WELL WORTH THE PRICE I PAID AND THE 20 BAR IS THE PRESSURE OF STEAM. THE EMPLOYEE KNEW LESS THAN ME!! I AM RATING IT NOW A PERFECT 4 AND IF IT CONTINUES TO WORK--I GIVE IT 5 STARS.. IT WAS WORTH THE PURCHASE SO, FAR, WE WILL SOON SEE- IF IT HAS THE ABILITY TO WORK HARD??

NOT DISAPPOINTED IN THE PURCHASE~~~!!!

The price for this unit is very reasonable. The small footprint is convenient for a crowded kitchen.
I was disappointed that although the write up for the machine stated that it was PID temperature controlled, the user has no control over the temperature as it is fixed at the factory. I have found the portafilter provided is extremely stiff when attaching it to and removing it from the machine's head.
I enjoy having the pressure gauge to guide me. The two cup basket does not seem to be quite deep enough to have good coffee puck control.

Casabrews 3700Gense Espresso unit-mixed feelings.

Disappointed with the quality of the brew. Using Illy espresso as I have with my previous Saeco and stovetop Moka pot but output is watery and crema is lacking. Tried both single and double shots and problems are similar.

Watery brew

Do not waste your time buying this useless machine. It's not going to work, it just looks fine but it does not work. I learned my lesson the hard way. The machine gets hot but that is it. It does not produce espresso, and the needle does not even move, it just sits there idle.

Get a better known brand of espresso machine.
