She could decorate it all she liked and immediately was thrilled by the elevator. The instructions were clear and this was a breeze to put together. It's made of nice sturdy materials.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Totally LOVE this Red Roof Cottage! First it was EASY to assemble (for a 72-year old non-handy lady). The cottage and all the pieces are well made and fit perfectly into their slots. Even the 3 lamps fit well; worked well after I installed 2 AAA batteries. The furniture is well made, too; sturdy. I purchased extra stuff: the Living Room Set, and the Elephant family, which are in this photo. I'm waiting for the arrival of a Kitchen Set; the Monkey family; and Hopscotch Rabbit family since I wanted the Dad & Little Brother to join Mom & Sister. My grand-niece hasn't started playing on it "yet," but she is SURE to LOVE it! I KNOW I will be adding to their Calico Critter World, as time goes on. I'm SUPER PLEASED with it. And I know it will last for years!

Turning the weather vane to make the elevator

It comes with a few pieces and other pieces are available for purchase. We ended up buying the bathroom set, bedroom set and kitchen set to go with the house. The house itself is great quality. My daughter can sometimes be a bit rough with her toys and you can tell these toys are made extremely sturdy.

It seems to be my very well the only thing that I would have liked is if it would have had a few more furniture accessories to go with the house.

Fun home for the Calico Critters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love having a little house for their critters! They use their imagination to set up the house! 
It has an elevator however the piece that makes it go up and down comes off very easy and the door to the elevator comes off easy so I'm constantly having to put it back on. Overall all though my kids love it and play with it often and I do like how they use their imagination with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Calico Critters Red Roof Tower Home is very detailed and cute! Quality seems to be mostly good. The elevator operation part needs to be sturdier though, 
because the rooster weather vain falls off rather easily while operating the elevator. Another drawback is having to purchase the lights and curtains for the house. It comes with a fuzzy white kitty in a dress, a round table with two chairs and two balconies you can move around. My children really enjoy using the elevator inside the home (when the rooster doesn't fall off of the tower).
