I'm obsessed with this color, but the formulation is just not there... I literally needed 4 coats? Such a bummer about this polish. This was my first polish of this brand...

Totally my color

This is a MATTE polish and that should definitely be in the description. It's a pretty color after a couple of coats but I had to put a glitter topcoat on because... I didn't want a matte polish.

Why do other China Glaze mattes have a sticker on the lid saying "matte" but this one doesnt?  We are supposed to just figure that out on our own?  Come on.  Put "matte" on the bottle like the rest of your mattes, please.

Misleading

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not a fan of this nail polish, their newest forlmus seems to be more opaque, and faster drying.

I bought this same item 1011 Flying Dragon/Item #80841 and was so DISAPPOINTED! The color was close to a burgundy or wine rather than purple as shown on the website. In fact it looks a totally different color from the web photos. 
 I was actually ok with the color EXCEPT it was VERY DULL, MATTE, and it had ABSOLUTELY NO SHINE or shimmer whatsoever!! Also, you couldn't see any glitter shimmer either after applied although could see very fine glitter shimmer in the bottle. It's deceptive and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this color at all if you're looking for a shiny polish.

Awful

The nail color is nothing like what the bottle looks like. I do not see any glitter at all on my polished nails. It is a matte finish and a very dark burgundy color. I am usually very pleased with the China Glaze colors, not this time.
