I played this at a friends house and had so much fun that I had to have one for us. I also purchased two for gifts. It is easy to play with money or without. We used dimes. The directions were fairly clear and understandable. These are wooden pieces. Some care should be taken to not break the horses. They do not detach from the board. (One of them was broken from the track but was easily glued back) I purchased additional dice as the dice that come with the game are small and rounded on the corners. Absolutely recommended! Great for camping, traveling, or power outages.

We saw this horse racing game at our campground and the wife loved it and had to have it so i checked online and found it on walmart with the best price. Love the free shipping to store feature. Will buy again from walmart ship to store

Great game to play especially for larger groups of people. We used dimes instead of the chips since it was all adults playing. Everyone had a great time. Dice that come with it are very small so we switched out with dice we had on hand. Other than that, the game seems well constructed. Can't wait to take it out to our campground this year and play with even more people.

fun for all ages

This is a super fun game, and even though we are at the peak of Christmas, my product was delivered even before the expected date which allowed me to mail them to family in time for Christmas Day.

I agree with the reviews I read before buying......the dice are very small. For the price, a regular pair of dice would have been nice. But, like others before me, I'm using my own, larger dice.

I've also painted the horses & lines....plus painted numbers at the top of each row. It's not necessary for the game, but it looks better.

It was as expected & overall, I'm pleased.

The game is ok, but the quality of the board, etc. left a bit to be desired.  My sister had one and it was much better--that was what I was expecting, but that didn't happen--

I would recommend the game, but not this game--another manufacturer perhaps would do better.  These days, who knows?

OK, but not ok--

I played this game before at a friends house and had a blast. So I thought I'd order one for myself. When I receive the game I noticed that there are two number 2 horses in the number 3 horse was left out. Also the dice are very small.

Great game, but a little issue with quality contro

I would recommend the horse race game that has the cover that slides - much more portable and less risk of breaking.
