I'm disabled and use a mobility scooter to get around. I bought this for use with my rv because I'm unable to use my awning. I tried following the directions but I have short arms and couldn't hold the strap for the roof and pull the side panels out at the same time. I was ready to send it back but I thought I'd try one more thing. I took some cord and tied one end to the roof strap and one end to the awning supports on the rv. It worked perfectly! I knew I'd have trouble extending the roof fully because I'm short besides being disabled. I left the cord attached to the roof strap for future use.  After I staked the CLAM down it was easy for my short stature to extend the roof. It took me close to an hour to get the Clam setup to where I could attach the poles. I'm sure the next time will be faster! I searched online to see if any other disabled people had set one up but I couldn't find anything. I'm keeping my CLAM!
