Another great war game that everyone likes. It is full of action and realistic war action that will give you endless hours of fun as you try to prefect killing the enemies and use of the weapons in the game. Semper Fidelis!

EXCELLENT

I really liked this game, it was different from other call of duty games but the change was well welcomed. I really recommend the story mode. If you are looking to sit back and relax. Enjoy the game. It is fun!

Very different approach, yet stunning to play!

I enjoyed Advanced Warfare for what it is worth. The controls are classic and easy to use. The graphics are top notch on my PS4. The story - well that is my only issue with this game.

I'm a original Call of Duty gamer and have played through them all. I have steadily watched as Call of Duty games have ventured further from what 'could' happen as of today's technology in true warfare. I enjoyed the Call of Duty games that were reenactments of previous wars. This game is nothing close to what could be possible. It takes your imagination to actually put you in this field of battle. A hefty dose of imagination.

All that said, my imagination works fine and even against my own idea of never buying this game to protest the changes from reality to fantasy, I did buy it and it so happens I enjoy it. I would recommend this game to anyone that is a lover of first person shooters. The price point as of this writing is fantastic and if you have a next generation console - do invest in this ambitious installment of the beloved Call of Duty franchise.

Not Your Daddy's Call Of Duty

I bought this for my son along with the ps4 . We weren't aware that you have to have playstation plus to play online so that was a disappointment but whatever they are keeping up with xbox. My son usually likes the black ops better but he loves this game. He would recommend you giving this game a try.

Good game

Personally, I liked the game better before they added the flying/ jump assist thing. Even though we all play the games for escapist reasons, a lot of us prefer that they be more realistic and not so futuristic. On a positive note, buying this from the Walmart online store, I was able to save about $20 on the purchase. I also enjoy the online multiplayer aspect of the game that allows me to play with friends and family that live in other parts of the country.

The campaign mode was impressive - really felt like being a part of a movie.

Gameplay in multiplayer mode is drastically different than that of the gameplay in the campaign mode. In the campaign mode you may or may not (depending on how far along you are in the story) have an Exo Suit which means you may or may not have the ability to jump to rooftops, so you'll have to be strategic in your advancement towards enemies (i.e. taking cover behind objects/buildings). In multiplayer mode, you are always equipped with an Exo Suit, so you can jump around like a lunatic all you want while you shoot wildly at your enemies (who are also jumping around like lunatics).

Multiplayer Mode:

If you like the idea of jumping on a trampoline and shooting a gun at a target, you might like this game.

Multiplayer mode is built COMPLETELY around the Exo Suit. You can jump around from rooftop to rooftop and cover ridiculous distances in a short amount of time which makes this game overly fast-paced and a pure "run and gun" and "spray and pray" game experience (snipers, or "campers," will hate this game). Also, instead of having flash grenades, EMP grenades, Smart grenades...etc. to use against enemies like you do in the campaign mode, the multiplayer mode gives you Exo Abilities like running faster, becoming invisible (sort of), or using a shield. The Exo Abilities only last for several seconds and are mostly pointless.

There is absolutely no strategy involved in the multiplayer mode. Those who enjoy flanking enemies under the radar, planting traps (i.e. claymores), and making tactical decisions will not enjoy this game. NOTE: there are no claymores, IEDs, or mines..etc.

Recommendation: RENT BEFORE BUYING

I personally threw this game out (it is literally in the garbage) and am hoping the next installment of COD has a better multiplayer mode that caters to all player types (snipers, sprinters, gunners...etc.). If Advanced Warfare is the direction Call of Duty is taking as a multiplayer experience, they're losing a customer.
