I bought this poker for my son-in-law who has purchased a fire pit for the backyard patio so that his family can enjoy hot dog roasts and s'mores. He says the poker is excellent and enables him to adjust the logs and then break up the embers to put the fire safely out.

Great little fire poker

This poker is genius. Its the perfect size to be portable, but extends to be fully functional. Perfect for taking camping with your RV or camper, but also small enough to strap onto a backpack if you're hiking to your campsite.  Love that it has a wooden handle, which makes it feel sturdy and not cheap.

If you're into poking this is one of the best. Being collapsible you can take your poking on the road with ease. Two thumbs up!!!

Sweet poker

Very sturdy and indispensable when camping or having a fire ring!

Great product insofar as its the only one of its type and if you look you can find it for under $10. Do not pay $20 as some sellers are asking for too much. This purchase is a replacement cuz after about five years mine broke, the tip part came off and the internal button spring failed.  Very nice to have when camping to manipulate logs/branches in your campfire.

Great product, just dont overpay

This did not last through one weekend camping. It is supposed to lock in place omce extended but it doesn't, so it's not good for poking. By the second night using it the hook would no longer stay in place and turned when I tried to use it. The hook and design is good but the locking mechanism needs to be improved. We ended up using a stick.
