I used the Coleman Big Basin 15 sleeping bag in California — both in the mountains and near the coast. Really impressed! Comfort is excellent — soft and cozy inside. Great insulation — stayed warm even on chilly nights in the Sierra. The fit is roomy, even with extra layers. Feels solid — great durability after multiple trips. It’s not super compact, but packability is decent for car camping. A reliable choice!

It’s warm and spacious but bulky — not for backpac

I had searched high and low for a sleeping bag for my husband who is in the service. We wanted something he could use in his rack. My husband is 6â1â with and 44â waist and wide shoulders and athletic (thick) legs. I wanted to find a sleeping bag that was loose enough for him to move/roll around in and long enough to go over his head with access fabric. This sleeping bag was perfect and its EXTREMELY warm. The space he sleeps in is 30-40 degrees and he now sleeps in regular PJâs.

My friend of 20 years is homeless and sleeping in her car. I got this sleeping bag for her I cant have her in my home because of covid 19. But I can help by getting an awesome warm sleeping bag. She thanked me so much. She said it was like sleeping on a cloud that hugged her. I was worried about her toes and body core. She was so warm and toasty. I was so happy to hear this.. Awesome Warm Sleeping Bag

Its big and roomy. I do not have to wake up in order to turn on my side.  Sleeping bag temperature ratings, according to my understanding, is the utmost temperature where you may survive.  This means you will  most likely be shivering and shaking without much sleep. If you want a bag to keep you toasty warm and cozy at plus 20 to 0 degrees, get one with 40 degrees more rating, for example minus 20 to minus 40 should keep you toasty at zero and 20 above.

We bought this for my son about 2 years ago it was great 1st it is a 2 person bag more less. So lots of and very warm. We sleep out with when it was below 35 and very warm. However after about  1 year one of the red zip plows broke off. It was still usable but harder to use. Then the bottom zipper broke and now you can zip it fully. It is a really great except for the zippers .

For some reason the color is different between two that I ordered, one is a bright green that looks like the same one on the box.
The other one is a darker navy blue color which looks nicer. I called Coleman they have no idea why the colors should be different.
What's going on Walmart why are the colors different?

This is a mistake that could cost lives. This bag is a “Big Basin 15 Hybrid” NOT RATED to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, it is only rated to 15 degrees. Purchased this thinking it was a 0* bag and planned a trip around it, now having to return this and cancel my plans because this was NOT AS ADVERTISED.
