To Clean and Deodorize: For most problems, sprinkle Comet® on wet surface or sponge, let sit for 15 seconds, rub, and rinse. If problem remains, wet surface, sprinkle on Comet®, let stand for 1 minute, rub, and rinse. Note: On delicate surfaces like plastic, imitation marble, and appliance enamel, use plenty of water, rub gently, and rinse. If you are cleaning an unfamiliar surface, test a small area first. I have always had comet cleaner in my household growing up. The cleaner is very versatile and can be used for many things example toilets, bathtubs, sinks (getting coffee stains out of stainless steel sinks etc). The product is also very cost effective and lasts along time. A little bit goes a long way with this cleaner.

Yes I'd recommend Comet, personally I love the way it smells, love the results on my toilets & bathtub it also shines the metal which is a bonus! Does use a little more water to remove because of its chalk consistency but I am completely okay with that!

Would I recommend Comet Cleaning Powder?

I can't deep clean without my Comet, call me old I do not care.  I've tried other products similar but Comet wins every single time.  
I just moved to a new apt and it was the first product I put in my tub to deep clean it, and it also helped me clean my cabinets & my kitchen exhaust fan like brand new!
Believe me, I get it we see a new product and all the hype around it makes us want to try it, and most of the time we feel deceived. I'm one of those who if it's work why change?!?

Old but still #1 to deep clean

As we move into bathtub season, having a cleaner that removes the grime of bath bombs, etc is important.  From my childhood we've continued to use Comet cleaner after bathing, it's perfect to ensure a clean surface without any slippery products left behind.

Old fashioned cleaning

I sprinkle this in the toilet after every use.  I wipe down my shower walls with it and a quick rinse after every shower.  I add water to it to make a multi purpose cleaner or paste for almost anything.   It is relatively inexpensive compared to other products and the cardboard can it comes in can be recycled.   I always have this product on hand!

Multi purpose cleaner

I have been using comet cleaner for as long as I can remember. My parents used it and I started using it, so for 30 years it's been our families go-to bathroom cleaner. I love that it's a powdered bleach. In the bathtub I like to wet then sprinkle a little and use my rag or scrubber to get into the tub and leave it sparkling clean. Isn't as strong a bleach scent as liquid bleach but does a great job leaving my bathroom cleaner and fresh.

My go-to bathroom cleaner

I'm a long time user of Comet. I use it to clean in the bathroom — sink, tub, toilet bowl — and I can tell you it always does the job and does it well. My mom also used it so I've got her to thank for leading me in the right direction with this indispensable household cleaner.

Always does the job well — and mom approved!

Here I love the comet, I use it to clean the toilet, the bath, the stubborn stains on the floor, the traces of markers on the table.. It is a product I use often. The smell only smells like the cleanser, no sweet fruit smell or anything, but as long as it washes, it’s perfect!

Comet Cleaner With Whitener

Picked up a canister of Comet hoping it would help with some tough stains in my sinks and tubs that I haven't been able to get out. Was pleasantly surprised that it not only got the stains out of everything, but it was easy to use and didn't damage any of the surfaces it was used on!

Best cleaning agent for rough jobs

I use this in my shower, which was pretty stained because it claimed it was tough on stains and it did an OK job but it didn't get rid of all the stains. I would definitely like to try this in other areas of my house. I need to be cleaned. I'm sure it is as effective as the packaging claims. Either way, I don't think you'll be disappointed if you buy this, but there might be better cleaning products out there for tough stains.

Does a decent job cleaning

Although Comet is a very good cleaner, I found it irrstating to my lungs/asthma and harsh on my skin. I would recommend wearing gloves while using this product
