[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two grandchildren that really enjoyed this gift. For a day or two… Honestly it's a one and done toy in the long run. Play for a little bit and it's going in the trash. At this price point, in this economy, I would prefer to see them with something that is less plastic, less quick dramatic (momentary anticipation) fun, less noise and more repeat play %26 longevity. Ultimately the children's satisfaction %26 desire for toys their classmates/friends have (usually the result of advertising) is what motivated the selection of this item. Had the girls not specifically asked for it, I would not have purchased this item.

the toy is adorable and the surprise of it is cute but the batteries were dead when we opened it. Hopefully they're just dead and it's not broken. have to wait until we can get the button batteries for it

My girls were having a fit over this, we got one and first it didn't make any sounds while we were shaking it, then once it flipped our pancake was stuck on repeat and wouldn't stop even without touching it so now my daughter is upset.

Nothing worked the toy smelled little off not sweet didn't have batteries. Also no pancake mix bummer .

The toy did not work at all the voice that comes from it kept stuttering and skipping
