I'm extremely happy with this COOLHUT ergonomic office chair. The build quality feels solid and supportive — perfect for long work hours. The adjustable lumbar support and high back design make it super comfortable, and it easily accommodates my posture throughout the day. It's sturdy and well-made, clearly designed to hold up to the 500lb capacity. The black finish looks sleek and professional in my home office.

* Sturdy Metal Construction where it is expected; Extra thick plastic where the plastic goes.
* 5 wide profile metal pronged wheel base; sturdy-smooth rolling wheels; well-balanced in all reclining positions; you'd have to try really really hard to tip it over.
* 3 hard-set recline positions; Spring release recline mechanism (so you don't get thwacked); it doesn't recline to a full lying position, but it reclines far enough where you could fall asleep if using an external foot rest. The full upright is fully upright with no wiggle. Yes!!!
* relatively deep seat; seat is wide enough for a decent manspread, especially since the arms can actually be adjusted outward rather than the static squeeze on the thighs;
*noticeably more gas pressure in the cylinder makes it sturdier;
*mesh back will enhance breathability; lumbar support is adequate (probably) for most people

better than expected

I have been sitting on this chair for about two months now since I bought it and all I can say is that I am in love with its sturdy material and ergonomic quality. I no longer have back problems and it has leveled up my study session. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This chair is heavy. It was easy to put together, but it was missing one screw. Even though they give you a few extra screws, the one missing was not among them. Overall, I am pleased with it. The only things that I don't care for is the Lumbar Support, and the Swiveling Arm supports, but that is a personal problem. You may like them.

Heavy and of good quality

It seemed like it would be a comfortable chair to sit in but I got it all put together and the mechanism that raises and lowers the seat didn't work! It seemed very cheaply made so it shouldn't surprise me. Sure was fun trying to fit those parts back in the box! Do yourself a favor and take a video  of how everything is organized in there to start!

Mechanism didn't work

It's not very comfortable. It looks comfortable but it's not. Though if you were just going to usd it for an hour or so it's ok. Not for a full time job. I returned it.
