5,000 miles on these on a Hyundai Accent in upstate NY. 10/32 left, so I expect them to last about 15k-20k total before they are down too low to use in winter . That's 2.5 winters for us. And this is a very light car.

We've had lots of snow. They are designed for deep snow, and for that, they are pretty good. We live at the top of a steep country road, and then our driveway is steep on top of that. Only once have I not gotten up the driveway yet. It was about 6" of snow and it was the slick as opposed to the fluffy kind. I decided to drop the pressure down to 25 and I made it.

These replaced Michelin x-ice xi3 which were the worst snow tires I've ever used. I cannot fathom how they get so many good reviews. Sure they last a long time, but they don't grip. The Coopers are much better in all conditions. On the interstate on a bad day in very slick conditions the car was very easy to handle at about 45 mph. Emergency braking, we had a deer run in front of us on a snowy road once, and the tires never lost their grip. 

Road noise, whatever. Good snow tires are going to make noise. I don't mind.

If I get 3 winters out of these I'll buy again. If it's 2, I'll be on the fence.

Cooper Tires

These tires are great they plow through the deepest snow and do great on packed snow and as good as can be expected on ice. I don't know about treadwear as I've only put about 500 miles on them but being a winter tire I don't expect much. Will get these on every passenger vehicle I can and will recommend to all my friends.

Can't stop, wont stop

Vehicle 2016 Kia Sorento EX FWD V6. Purchase a set of 4 November 2019 for a 33 December 2019/January 2020 Road trip to Denver CO and souranding locations. "Did not install studs". On the open road the tires performed flawlessly, tire noise was negligible no discernible wear. Ice and snow were no match for the vehicle and tires. On the return trip at 4:00 a.m. drove 15 miles of ice on I-25W passing castle rock not even a twitch. I am very happy with these tires, I have not replaced with all season tires to see how long they last driving in the Florida endless summer. Total miles driven since installation 12,775 wear is negligible!

Excellent performance, value, quality, very grippy.

Put these on all for corners to replace the crap x-ice 3 's I had on my car.No comparison .
We had the first snow fall of the season back in November ,about 4" ,10cm and had the x-ice ice on the car which came from the dealer. I was all over the road. A 20 minute drive turned into 45 minute white knuckle nightmare.
 These evolution winters are amazing . Have driving in deeper snow since . Awesome traction ,quite, and a excellent ride. Will never purchase anything else.

Michelin watch out!!!!!!!

Just put a set on my 2016 Jetta and tested them out in Erie and Pittsburgh winter weather last week. Drove around 75 miles on I-79 North in wet slick icy snow no issues at all. I put them through a half a foot of snow in Erie could not get stuck even with traction control on. Icy conditions in Pittsburgh came around a turn hit some slick spots they bit right in with traction control and I was able to keep pointing in the right direction. Coming from other brands in the past this is a solid tire for the cost. Cooper thank you.

Great Tire

After a few Minneapolis winters and having my Matrix buried by snow plows, I finally purchased my first set of snow tires. Really happy I did and the Cooper Evolution Winter were recommended to me as a slightly cheaper alternative to the Blizzaks. Takes corners well and shorter stopping time on ice but best performance so far has been through the snow and not drifting while gassing it at intersection lights. 

The four instead of five stars is because I don't have anything to compare it to. I have noticed that the few times I have been on the highway that they are noisier than my all weather. Overall, I am happy I did it. I grew up driving in the snow in light weight foreign cars and used to driving sideways but sick and tired of getting stuck when ever there is more than 2 inches of snow. These tires make it feel like I am driving an AWD, its amazing.

Can't wait for the big snows to come!

First time buying snow tires

Look at the tread. Plenty of empty space, angled sipes - this thing just wants to eat the road. Evacuation isn't even a question. Yes, they are aggressive so they will wear faster than a more balanced winter tire, but I'll take tire expenses over an accident. I'm a Remote Technician in Vermont and these provided my 1999 Camry with the grip required to drive 30,000 miles of back roads between September and March. Just be sure to switch out of these once it gets warm. They will grind away to nothing in the mild heat of April.

I'm Obsessed With Tires - This One's a Good Choice

Put these on a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. We had a longer and snowier winter than normal here in South Dakota and these tires really impressed me! Changed my front wheel drive van into almost an all wheel drive - when the tires were driven properly. And the new stopping distance on snow packed roads was amazing! I have recommended these tires to many people already and almost can't wait for next winter.

Great Winter Tire for Dodge Grand Caravan

I buy a lot of summer performance tires, all season Radials and truck tires for our 5 daily drivers. I'm a former auto tech and have done all of my own work for over 40 years. I have tire and balance, alignment machines and build modified cars and trucks. I know and trust the Cooper brand and have always had them on my 1953 Chevy hotrod pickup truck that I've owned since 1990.

Sorry for rambling but experience is relevant because I was somewhat shocked at the grip delivered by these Cooper Evolution Winters as was my wife after I mounted a set on the front of her front wheel drive SUV. So far it's the beginning of February in Wisconsin and these things are super effective. WARNING they grip so well from a dead stop on ice and snow that they give you a false sense of security so remember that when you have to BRAKE : )

Wear seems to be very good after three months I'll update when we get 25,000 miles or so.

Unexpected grip from a dead stop in multiple types of snow/ice cover and temperatures

My girlfriend & I have a manual Scion tC that is lowered 3-inches+body kit & we live in Montana. We're tire freaks & we're very impressed with the Cooper Evolution which basically is a low profile snow stud-able tire for cars, depending what series you get of course (in our case got the 50-series). We were out test driving the tires which we were very pleased with when we had to stop at an intersection on a ice+snow covered hill. Somewhat concerned on the situation but eager to find how well they performed, the tires didn't let us down. My girlfriend was so impressed her reaction was they handled so well that they deserve a review!

Awesome Tires

The vehicle I purchased my Cooper tires for is used just for commuting to work which is 130 miles round trip. Almost all is on a divided highway. I had Blizzaks previously and these were recommended as a less expensive option. I want my Blizzaks back that I ran for 4 seasons. Switching them into winter gave me a back to back comparison between the two winter tires. I have lost 6-7 MPG with the Coopers. They also do not handle well. On dry pavement at 75 MpH, the car is squirrely. It is darting around in the lane making it a real pain.

So far a letdown.
