Cosco Rolling Commercial Step Stool is awesome! We bought a new bed, we didn't know we were going to have to climb Mt. Everest to get into it but we do, I looked at all these wooden step stolls that cost a mint and just didn't look very sturdy so I thought what about a metal one instead, and I looked through many but I saw these and thought how sturdy and well built they looked and I took a chance and ordered them, I am so glad I did, I'm a heavy woman and they hold quite a but of weight, but they are neato anyway, we need those two steps to get into our bed, and when you step on them, the rubber grips come down on the floorand grip it to keep it from rolling, got one for both sides of the bed and we also use them for all kinds of stuff around the house, we're short people, so they really come in handy when we need to get into cabinets and such, and fairly wide steps also so you don't feel restricted like you would with a ladder or regular built step stool. We love them, they might not be a pretty step stool but they most definitely are a hardworking step stool,  And we think they're worth every cent, they were definitely cheaper then the wood bedside stools but I'll bet they'll last a whole lot longer than one also, very heavy duty. We're very pleased with our purchase.

I have tall kitchen cabinets and didn't want to constantly have to grab a step stool and unfold it and move it around every time I was putting dishes away or cooking. This stool is compact, sturdy, safe, and has rollers that stop when you put weight on the first step. I use my foot to slide it around with my hands full. Very convenient, only one of its kind I found.

Great little "tool"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Cosco rolling commercial step stool works very good. This step stool is on rollers which allows you to roll it anywhere. It also has rounded feet which when you step on to the stool it will sit flat on the floor, it is spring loaded which lowers the step stool as you step on it. It is made of good quality metal and is very durable and stable enough to hold a lot of weight, as the stool will not tip over while standing on it nor will it roll. This rolling step stool can be used in a garage, shop, office, a home or anywhere a stool maybe needed. It is good for short people like me that have a hard time reaching for those hard to reach places or things like in a cabinet, especially in a kitchen. This rolling step stool is definitely a good thing to have around, comes in handy.

Although I had several step stools around the house, they were older and not as stable as I would like them to be. So I was excited to have the opportunity to review the Cosco Rolling Commercial Step Stool through the Sparkreviewer program. It seems like “some assembly required” has become the norm when it comes to many things we purchase today. The step stool does require some assembly. However, if you follow the enclosed assembly instructions and get the holes lined up, putting it together is not that big of a deal.

Once I got it together it is a very sturdy and stable step stool. It is well constructed using 1¼ inch metal tubing. I like the wide and deeper steps that come with this step stool. The width of the stool is a little over 17 inches. The steps are 8 inches deep which makes me feel more secure when I'm standing on the top step. The height of the second step when weight presses the stool to the floor is about 18 inches. It rolls easily when there is no weight on the stool but very stable when standing on it. I am very happy with it and highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really good sturdy step stool. It is a little heavy but the wheels make it easy to move around. The suction cups on the wheels make it easy to stay in place. It also has non slip steps. It folds up so you can put it anywhere for easy storage. I like that it's very sturdy.

Very sturdy

Great rolling step stool. Heavy duty and has a a feel so solid it's like your standing on a stairway.. It's a little awkward to put together and the only downside (for me anyway) is that is doesn't fold up. It takes up a considerable amount of floor space when not in use.

Built Like A Tank

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my Cosco Rolling Commercial Step Stool, 2-Step, 19 7/10 Spread, Platinum/Black, about 10 days ago. Fiddled and diddled and then called in a friend to help with the assembly; which is not as easy as it looks on the instruction sheet, because fitting together some of the parts (especially the rounded top) required encouragement beyond my strength or ingenuity. Luckily, my friend (pictured at work), who is stronger and much more mechanically inclined, got it together with a splash of ingenuity and an occasional helping hand from me.

I was happy to see the finished product is a very rugged, versatile and useful end product; with wide, solid steps and very sturdy design. It also looks good, and because of the suction cup covered rollers is easy to move around to where needed without having to pick it up.

People my age might prefer put a little less spring under the rollers, as it will tend to move a bit until enough weight is mounted on the first step to drop the suction cups at the feet to the floor (which lock it in place). Once aware of this, I had no problem making safe mounts (I press my foot straight down on the first step until it drops to the floor) and dismounts and found it really helps getting into those high cabinets.

Once together, based on the experience of putting it together; my guess is it will last a lifetime. It is a really solid step stool. If you want the convenience of a commercial grade step-stool, I can't see needing better than this; it's highly functional and really solid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This step stool is very heavy duty and strong. It did require assembly and it was not easy at all. I would definitely suggest you have your own scew driver or drill. Because the little one included is awful. The product once assembled is very nice really. It is large about 3 feet by 2 feet. But very nice and durable. The way the wheels arenon the four sides is odd though. It has a plastic piece above each wheel that pushes down when you climb ladder. This secures the wheels from rolling while you are on it. But we tested it with the weight of our 70 pound daughter and it did not push it down. So it definitely is not meant for children to use. Overall I would highly rate this I'd you are willing to deal with assembly and have the room to store it.
