stays on all day, no smudging! very soft and easy to apply, nice rich color also. not sure what other reviews are talking about, i had no trouble at all sharpening it with a regular sharpener. i also own urban decay eyeliner and this is definitely a comparable, cheaper, option!

I love the  covergirl exhibitionist eyeliner pencil! It stays on for a long time. I also had a hard time sharpening it.  To the lady that also had a hard time trying to  sharpening herself,  I bought the Sun's Out Beauty Percision 2 in 1 Cosmetic Sharpener .and it Sharpens it real good. You can buy it online at Walmart. Com.  It's made in Germany.  $9.97. Works good!

This is the most black Kohl liner I've used. It really makes my eyes pop and lasts all day.  I like the look since my brown eyes are dark. The problem is keeping it sharpened to a point. I only found one sharpener strong enough to work, and it makes a mess. It should be sold with a sharpener as a set. 
This product does NOT wash off easily. It is not listed as waterproof, but it seems to be. If it gets on your fingers, sink, or vanity it is hard to clean.

Black liner that stays on all day

I loved it when I first started using it. As it got to where it need to be sharpened, I found out that it was not a twist up as I had thought (due to the bottom turning). Instead I had to sharpen it, wish was not as difficult as some suggested. However, since I have sharpened the pencil, the eyeliner has begun to smudge after being put on. It has also begun to clump up and pieces break off when applied.

Absolutely love the liner, its downfall is it does not sharpen great.  Half of the product gets wasted while sharpening.  I have tried several sharpeners and bought several of these liners and unfortunately end result is the same.

The pencil tip broke immediately upon its first use. The eye pencil is unbelievably difficult to sharpen %26 I've tried 3 different kinds of sharpeners. So much waste , just trying to create a workable tip. There has to be something better!

I loved this eyeliner.  It went on smooth and then you had to go and change the pencil.  I have tried multiple sharpeners and the pencil is now worthless.  If you changed the pencil you could have created a sharpener just for your pencils.  I would be more than happy to pay for one.

There was only enough product to last for a couple of days. Can't sharpen and there was nothing left to twist after the original amount showing at the tip. Won't buy again.
