I am 68 years old and had  feathering of my lipstick  until I found this product. It really works! No more feathering/bleeding and lipstick stays on longer.

This products packaging is simple and basic, there ain't a scent to the liner that has a distinct scent. The liner itself feels like almost a marker type but I will say I didn't love the formula. After trying I found my self still using it but not reaching for it as much as I thought I would. The pigmentation is there but does wear after eating and just typical wear and tear type of situation!

I received my farewell feathering lip liner. I used it for 4 days and Loved it. on the fifth day I tried using it but no point. I tried winding it and nothing came out. I decided to us my makeup sharpener and it would not sharpen. I paid 7.30 for a pencil that last only 4 days. I'm hoping this one was a defective pencil. I requested a Refund or replacement. I think this his would be a great product if it was package better. So sad! it was great for the first 4 days. What a shame!!! :(

I bought this liner thinking it would solve my feathering lipstick problem. It was a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Right?  I was very happy when I used it the first, second and third time.  When the liner point got low I tried to turn the bottom so more would come up, it didn't work.  I took it back to the store and exchanged it for another one, thinking it was defective.  The joke was on me, now that I'm reading it has to be sharpened.  You would think there would be some type of direction on the box or an insert.  I like the liner, BUT now I have to buy a sharpener to use it.  Cover Girl needs to develop a better vessel for this liner.

I bought this and literally I barely super lightly touched my lips and it broke off and of course I'm out on vacation and don't have a store near by to buy a sharpener. It looks like its one where you can twist the bottom and it'll come up but nope it's a total waste of money and time. In the nicest words possible this product is the biggest p.o.s. Next time I decided to buy a lip liner I'll make sure to buy it from a different company that actually says if it's an automatic one or not that's not gonna force you to buy more things treat you'll have to carry around. Like at very least put on the packaging that it's just a pencil and will need a sharpener or something!! Especially for that much!!! I want my money back.

Total wast of money

Product worked to prevent feathering, but was only able to get about 5 uses out of it, before it was useless. As for Cover Girl's recommendation to "sharpen" the stick is thick plastic, and creates uneven jagged shards, that make it unsafe for use.

Would be nice if it last longer than 5 uses.

they need to fix the way you get the liner out of the pencil.  I buy 2 at a time a few times a week because it gets wasted.  I have thrown them away before I get to use all of it.

My review mirrors many others. You can't get the pencil to sharpen so you can use it. Falls apart, tip breaks.  No instructions so I thought it was an automatic pencil and bought two. Total waste of money. Big disappointment from a good brand.
