It's been a long while since I used one of these after improving my makeup routine. These get the job done, but they definitely wear overtime pretty quickly depending on the usage. Mine always seemed to get an imprint of where I held it and it would slowly thin out/break down. In my opinion, if you're going to use a sponge application, just go get a larger egg-shaped (or similar) blender that will hold up better.
