I bought this color after buying another color of the same line but too dark. I'm able to mix them to aquire the perfect shade. Colors dry darker than what the shade looks in container. It stays all day, feels weightless and doesn't dry my lips out. Love it!

Great non drying matte lip and it blends well with other mattes as well goes on creamy and then gives the matte finish in seconds Im so in love with this shade and product would buy again and would most definitely recommend to anyone whos looking for a perfect matte lip

As you can tell by the condition the tube is in this lipstick was well loved. The formulation is smooth and creamy and not drying on the lips. I like the rich red color for a bolder look. It wears well although it does smear a bit and get lighter but it isnt too bothersome if youre wearing a darker shade

I bought one of these 3 months ago, and after wearing it a few times I loved it so much I went out and purchased 3 more shades. I have been SO happy with them, especially at their price point. I really wish that there were more than 8 shades, and I hope that more colors come out soon!

I just bought Aristocrat and a Nude shade.  I am 60 years old, so although I love the bold colors, I don't feel comfortable wearing them on an average day.  These colors were just perfect for me.  I even layered the two to see the resulting color--beautiful!  I have tried matte colors before and they dry my lips up terribly.  This lip color went on smoothly, no gunking, no stickiness.  Even when I layered the colors on top of eachother, the lipstick stayed smooth.  There is no resulting stickiness after several hours of wear. No transfer of color onto my drinking cups. No smearing.  I am thoroughly enjoying this lipcolor!!!

Feels soft and smooth

I bought the shade Paradise Lost on a whim the other day. I don't like the color on me, but really loved the formula. I just bought Seismic Impulsion and I'm obsessed. I am a person who is willing to spend top dollar on a truly great liquid lipstick. I've recently purchased Stila(kill me my lips are so dry) and Ofra(zero staying power). I'm really kicking myself for spending so much money. The only downside to these Covergirl melting pout mattes is the color range is pretty minimal, and not terribly exciting. But formula is key! I can't wait for more colors!,

got what i requested but on the website the color looked purple so i decided on another color which im not really happy with. sometimes online it don't show you that. i wanted the 330 color, but it looked purple and i know from a friend when i took the picture of her lipstick it showed the item was number 330 of that brand and not purple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The formula is fine. It dries down to a true matte, as it should. It's easy to apply, and the price is right. The colors I was sent, however, are not dark skin friendly. Ballerina and Current Nude are meant for people with light skin tones, so yet again, I felt excluded because the campaign didn't consider someone like me.

Went on horrible 
It's not at all what I wanted. It was very blotchy
