I've been using Kobalt impact tools for a while. I needed an impact that would have high enough torque for suspension work and (lower torque) lug nuts. Man, this thing cuts like butter removing bolts. Kobalt impact did a decent job, ran at high rate of impact. The Craftsman though had a heavier impact hit while not torqing the tool in your hand. I'm definitely sold

The battery & tool never let me down. The torque is surprising. I never have to go back over & tighten any of the nuts. I would strongly recommend this to anyone that does heavy automotive work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a 19.2 volt guy for years but those products are hard to come by so I decided to start building my 20V collection. This product has amazing power for any job and is not too heavy for the average joe.

Great Power and Weight

I was given this impact for a birthday gift, and was kinda nervous about using it in the shop setting I work in. With a 4.0a/h battery I can zap tires off cars all day long on a single charge. As the battery drains, it begins to have trouble, but even with the 2.0 It had little to no issues with performance. I was absolutely impressed and plan on picking up a brushless 1/2" and 3/8" in the near future.

Takes off wheels and suspension parts with ease.  Haven't tried a crank bolt yet or anything extremely hard.
