Battery Charging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can honestly say I haven't had one go completely dead on me yet. Always have a back up at the ready, but these batteries last a long time and get the job done. Excellent product.

Reliable and durable

craftsman.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very pleased with the quality of the batteries. They charge fast and last a long time in my drill or hammer drill. Obviously they done last long on higher drain devices but they are great overall. I would recommend these.

Great!

I use it from my edger and the leaf blower and can interchange them easily, most of the convenient feature is LED status light which shows the charge capacity for the battery while using /while charging.
It last 20 to 25 mins on blower its little less, so having two battery pack is good.
Charging of them takes time so I plan they before using so they are ready, this are not like the previous fast charging Craftsman batteries.

Great for various tools

I bought the V20 Brushless Drill w/ 2 batteries on 12/28/2018. Didn't have a problem with them until December 2020 when I discovered one of them wouldn't charge and the charger didn't even recognize it. Contacted Craftsman via their chat system and was able to get a replacement sent to me. 2 days after that conversation the other battery did the same thing. Contacted Craftsman again and went through the same process. I now have 2 new batteries being shipped to me under warranty. I will say their warranty department is better than others I've dealt with and was a fairly quick process.

What I have found from reading blogs is that some of the battery components for the CMCB202 are made in South Korea while others are made in Malaysia and others in China. From the blogs I've read the batteries with South Korean parts are subpar to batteires made elsewhere.

Good Batteries While They Last

What I have works great and lasts 20-25 minutes, enough to blow the leaves off my driveway and back porch. Would like to know how long it should take to charge it on house electircal system after it goes dead? I could not find it anywahere. Thanks. Prakash

Battery Pack V20 2.0AH

Bought as part of weed eater and blower combo pack. Honestly works pretty good but one battery is only good for front or backyard but not both. Would be better to have a second battery.

Work well but don't last long

I have bought combo with drill and impact with 2 batteries. Some times the batteries may only last 1 day sometimes 1-1/2 days. So both batteries max life is 1-1/2 days. I use them for work everyday, I have another co worker that has the old craftsman impact an drill an there batteries will last about a week doing the same job. I've had another brand an they lasted about a week doing the same job. I've had these for less then a yr. an the batteries are horrible. I'm looking to buy more batteries so if the ones I have due in the job I can switch them out, I have no way to recharge batteries while at work so it's very inconvenient when they die so fast.

Battery drain

walmart.com

I saw this line of products and had to have them. So for Christmas, my birthday, and father's day I told everyone I wanted this craftsman line and I got it. The tools work fine and perform as expected but these batteries are terrible. I've never left them on the charger overnight and I hadn't use 2 in a couple of months and there dead they won't charge or power anything. The small one not working didn't bother me as much as the big one that came with the saw did when it died and these were bought in December. So if you're in line for a cordless power tool try something else because these will leave you powerless.

Buyer Beware

I BOUGHT THE RADIO LAST SUMMER AND IT CAME WITH THE 1.5 AH AND LASTED ALL DAY I WAS IMPRESSED. SO I BOUGHT THE V20 18G NAIL GUN AND THE 2 AH BATTERYPACK. THE 2 AH WHICH MEANS AMP HOURS LASTED 20 MIN. TWO SLEEVES OF BRADS AND IT WAS DONE. VERY NICE TOOLS AND WORK WELL BUT THEY ARE WORTHLESS DUE TO THE BATTERIES. I PROBABLY WONT BE BUYING ANOTHER V20 SO DISSAPPOINTED
