[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclaimer I am a test user and I have received a complimentary sander from craftsman. 

I have put this sander through is paces and I have not had any issue with it to this point, I have stress tested roof multi from a fully charged battery and I struggled a little bit but that was probably due to sandpaper grit and pressure from body weight, beyond all of that the battery has sufficient power and runtime with the deciding factors being the use of the correct sandpaper for the job.

Great even on big projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a handy light weight orbital sander. Used it for sanding walls after removing ceramic tile and worked great. Have used it for many other projects around the house and it just seems to work great. Battery life is good with the 5ah but the smaller batteries tend to not last long.

Great orbital sander

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Sander when I was building a large coffee cup collection. This was a great addition to my power tools. It does an awesome job and is very easy to handle. I have several sanders, but this is by far my favorite. 5 stars isn't enough. I'd recommend this tool to everyone looking for a Sander.

Awesome Sander for the money

This sander is one of the best sanders I've ever had. The price paid was far under what I'd have expected to pay for this kind of quality. The first thing I used this sander for was to build a case to hold all the cups my wife and I collected during our 2 last trips. The first was for about 7 months in 2023. The second was about 6 months in 2024, so you can bet we collected a lot of cups plus others we got over the years before. Without this sander, I'd have had to take a lot longer to get it finished.

Best Sander I've ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well. Keep tons of extra sanding pads because the Velcro on the pads will get loose to the point of falling off especially when there’s lots of dust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this orbital sander for about a year now. Have used it on multiple project and the dust collection on it is great! Takes batteries with no issue and switching sanding discs is a breeze.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works well for what it is, I'm just personally not a fan of velcro on orbital sanders. Hoping they make a 6 inch PSA version in the future.

Good dust collection if that's what you need

This is a great sander; small, light, easy to use.  But Craftsman's Specifications say "Has Vairiable Speed - Yes."  That is factually incorrect - this is not a variable speed sander.  Download the Instruction Manual and see for yourself before you buy - page 6 of the manual, operation, makes no mention of variable speed.  The diagram of the sander on the cover of the manual does not list any variable speed control knob or slider or any other variable speed control in the 8 parts listed.
I'll gladly change my Overall Rating if or when Craftsman changes the Specifications on their website description of this product.
