I have to be honest and say I was not expecting to give a positive review of the Crave Smoky Jerk Chicken frozen meal. But I was wrong. Both my husband and I were surprised at the taste, texture, portion size, and amount of chicken in this ready made frozen meal. It was spicy, but not overly so...the perfect amount! There was a lot more chicken than I was expecting! The peas and carrots were not overly cooked (not mushy!) and the rice was the perfect texture - not too hard or soft. Only 4 pineapple chunks, though, so if I had any complaints, that would be it...not enough pineapple. All in all, pleased with the product and it's a great value for the price. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

I really enjoyed this product in this flavour. I am a fan of pineapples and the meal is just perfect for me. The combination of jerk chicken rice and pineapple is so delicious and filling.. The chicken meats are so succulent, and the  spiciness is medium which made it so great tasting. My mouth definitely  had a good time savouring this. Will definitely buy this flavour again. This new crave in smoky jerk chicken on rice with pineapple is so delicious and mouthwatering. For people that love spicy meals this is definitely for you. It has medium spiciness that is tolerable making the meal so  tasty. It has ample portions  of jerky chicken meats that are succulent with  rice and my favourite pineapple chunks. It is definitely a frozen meal that I will keep on buying. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

CRAVE Smoky Jerk Chicken on Rice with Pineapple Frozen Meal is quite tasty, as it has a slight hint of smoky flavour with the right amount of spices along with some pineapple chunks, so the dish tastes sophisticated with multiple and simultaneous stimulants working hard on my taste buds.  It's easy to prepare in a microwave within a few minutes where the instructions are easy to follow.  To my surprise, it did not turn out to be soggy at all.  Literally, it's cooked with the appropriate amount of moisture maintained; the meal simply tastes yummy and fulfilling after a few good stirs to blend everything well together.  This frozen meal is great as a staple when I want variety for a quick meal and perfect on those days when I want a wholesome and hearty lunch that has 23 g of protein to refuel myself for the rest of a workday. A fulfilling, tasty and exotic meal in minutes

The Smoky Jerk Chicken meal from Crave is a frozen meal focusing on global tastes and flavors. The jerk chicken is served with rice and pineapple chunks and a medley of other vegetables. 

I found this meal very easy to prepare and very tasty. I did not care for the pineapple chunks, they were a bit hard but the meal had at least seven bite-size pieces of chicken and the portion was sizeable for a frozen meal. 

I would recommend this meal for someone who wants variety in frozen meals and loves jerk chicken. The smoky taste is not overwhelming and it is a healthy meal.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Deliciousness ready in five!

This meal consisted of chicken chunks on a bed of rice, vegetables, and pineapples, with jerk seasoning. I really enjoyed the taste and texture of this meal, and would definitely eat it again. The chicken was tender and well cooked, and coated with a nice amount of seasoning. The vegetables, despite having been frozen, did not lose their texture and were still crunchy, and the pineapple was juicy. The rice was fluffy and also well seasoned. The cooking instructions on the box worked perfectly, and the meal was at the perfect temperature when it was time to eat. The portion size was also perfect. The only minor issue was that it was a bit dry. Some sauce would greatly improve the overall flavour and feel. 

Overall, I had a great experience with this product, and would definitely recommend it for people who do not have the time or desire to cook, but still enjoy complex meals with great flavours.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

My Experience with Crave Smoky Jerk Chicken Meal

780 Gms sodium for a little more than a cup is too salty for me. I ate this for supper at 9 pm and awoke this morning with an overwhelming salty taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I will no longer buy this one but will continue to rate others from this distributor.

Overpowering aftertaste of salt

I was excited to try this meal. I love a good jerk chicken. Disappointing. Really all I can say is it was okay. Spicy but, a weird tasting spicy not a good one. Having Cuban neighbours may have ruined this for me. Not fond of the pineapple. There were large chunks in it that put me right off. Did not eat the entire entree as it just wasn't right. Not for me thank you! I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Smoky Jerk Chicken

I am trying the Crave Jerk Chicken with Pineapple frozen meal. 

My initial thoughts were that it looked delicious. The dish had very nice colouring and looked appetizing. 

This meal was quick and easy to make. Only took 5 minutes in the microwave.

The flavours in this dish were very underwhelming. It, unfortunately, is very bland. 

The textures in this dish were a little bit upsetting. Mushy peas and rice. I thought the chicken was good though.

Overall, I probably wouldn't buy this product again. I would maybe recommend it to someone who doesn't really like spice or really flavourful dishes. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Ok for a small lunch or a snack

I like jerk chicken. I don't think that I would call this product jerk chicken. It's spicy, and it's smoky, but it doesn't taste like jerk chicken to me. I personally didn't find it a very appealing taste.  The cooked dish also looked nothing like the packaging.  I know that the packaging shows the food under ideal conditions but there is absolutely no way for the product to look anything like that. I had the impression that the bulk of the flavour would be on the chicken, in reality everything is coated in the same sauce and it all tastes pretty much the same.  I will not be buying this again.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Not as good as I was expecting

This is the first time I have tried The Crave Smokey Jerk Chicken on rice with pineapple and It does not taste good, it has poor flavour which I don't like. It has hints of smoke but it doesn't taste like Jerk chicken. There needs to be bolder flavours and more spice.
It serves for one person. Pineapple combination in this meal looks off to me. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.
