I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty this frozen meal was! The smoky jerk chicken had the perfect amount of spice, and the pineapple added a nice touch of sweetness. The rice was cooked well, and the portion was just right. I love that this frozen meal is easy and quick to prepare! For a quick and easy meal, this definitely hits the spot! CRAVE Smoky Jerk Chicken on Rice with Pineapple Frozen Meal is quite tasty, as it has a slight hint of smoky flavour with the right amount of spices along with some pineapple chunks, so the dish tastes sophisticated with multiple and simultaneous stimulants working hard on my taste buds.  It's easy to prepare in a microwave within a few minutes where the instructions are easy to follow.  To my surprise, it did not turn out to be soggy at all.  Literally, it's cooked with the appropriate amount of moisture maintained; the meal simply tastes yummy and fulfilling after a few good stirs to blend everything well together.  This frozen meal is great as a staple when I want variety for a quick meal and perfect on those days when I want a wholesome and hearty lunch that has 23 g of protein to refuel myself for the rest of a workday. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

A fulfilling, tasty and exotic meal in minutes

This was a fairly tasty product and i enjoyed it. It had a lot of chicken pieces which is good, and means there is a lot of protein to keep you full.  It's a good meal when you're rushed or don't feel like cooking.  It was easy to prepare in the microwave. While I did enjoy it I don't know if I would purchase it again.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Pretty tasty

This sounded yummy and did not disappoint. It was not overly saucy or too smoky. There was enough chicken and a nice balance or rice and vegetables. The pineapple was small and lacking. I would have liked to see either more pieces or larger pieces. Overall,  I would probably purchase this item again. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Something a bit different

I was surprised by the level of flavour in this product, as I expected it to be more bland.  I personal would like more flavour/sauce, but I understand that you need to market to a wide swath of people.  My husband and son also tried it, and they were able to handle the level of spicy, and they enjoyed the flavour.  I like the combination of the heat/spice of the smoky jerk and the sweet of the pineapple pieces.   I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

a delicious meal, spicy just enough for a good flavor, a pleasant texture to chew, a suitable portion for a dinner at work, beautiful presentation, the packaging is pretty, the list of ingredients is good, the nutritional value table is good, the instructions are very simple, I really adopted it for my lunches! a good lunch full of flavors!

780 Gms sodium for a little more than a cup is too salty for me. I ate this for supper at 9 pm and awoke this morning with an overwhelming salty taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I will no longer buy this one but will continue to rate others from this distributor.

Overpowering aftertaste of salt

I was excited to try this meal. I love a good jerk chicken. Disappointing. Really all I can say is it was okay. Spicy but, a weird tasting spicy not a good one. Having Cuban neighbours may have ruined this for me. Not fond of the pineapple. There were large chunks in it that put me right off. Did not eat the entire entree as it just wasn't right. Not for me thank you! I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Smoky Jerk Chicken

It was personally a bit too much sauce for my preference and a bit too watery at the bottom of the container.  However, the biggest issue for me is that there were not enough pineapples. I only had three pieces and they were not very sweet. On the other hand, there was a good amount of chicken. Overall, it was okay. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

It's okay

Today I am reviewing  Crave smoky jerk chicken on rice with pineapple. It's from their new global cravings line. It looks tasty on the box, with a good mix of rice, meat & veggies, as well as 23g of protein. 

I tried the meal one evening. It was easy to prepare, with clear microwave instructions on the side of the box. 
When I peeled back the plastic after cooking, I noticed right away the meal didn't look anything like the picture. There was minimal sauce, smaller pieces of veggies & chicken, and only 2 pieces of pineapple. Not a great start, but I dug in. 

As for taste- It did have a kick from the spice, but not much actual flavour, aside from a bit of cinnamon.
It was too dry, and seemed like the rice maybe absorbed the moisture. I added water to make it saucier, and that helped. 
While there was a good amount of chicken, it was smaller than I expected, more processed pieces, and several were not cut through. 
The veggies were also not as pictured, and were mostly peas. There were pieces of onion skin in the meal.

While it was filling, I wouldn't recommend it. The quality of the actual meal doesn't add up to my expectations or how it's presented. If I intended to eat it on the go without being able to add the water at the end, it would have been very dry & even more unappealing.  I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.
