Build Quality

Simple to operate with easy-to-understand features.

Can be unclear, but often easy to follow.

I like it a lot. I was able to cook multiples full meals with it. Just add veggies on top of the rice and they will get perfectly steamed (ex
 broccoli). It's easy to clean also.

More than a rice cooker

Nice

Perfect size for my family of 4. Easy to use and cook fast! I love the function for porridge , it really helps a lot when I got sick as a Chinese family. I suggest to add a bit more water for rice cooking if you like softer rice.

Buy it. This version does not talk.

We've had several rice cookers and always pick one designed from an Asian perspective. Important to us is, that it can make congee (rice porridge). First Cuckoo brand cooker for us. I like the compact form and the first batches of jasmine rice were perfect (there's a setting). Haven't explored beyond that yet. The manufacturing quality feels flimsy for the price, however, and the plastic steamer insert, out of the sealed box, had a crack in it. This was the last item on the shelf, so we negotiated a discount rather than returning it. The general issue with this sort of design, that a lot of condensation water ends up in the rim (designed for that, but still) as soon as you open the lid, is especially prominent compared to the last one we had. Have to soak it up with a dish towel. The classic rice cookers used to have a reservoir down the back, but this one (as its predecessor in our home, from another brand) has it in the lid. Overall, pricey and feels cheap, but worth it if the rice continues to be that fluffy and even.

Flimsy build quality, great rice.

The rice cooker looks great. I had bought several rice cooker before this one was Tiger. It can go up to 10 cups but this one says 6 cups uncooked and when cooked 12 cups. It's very deceiving. A bit disappointing.

Rice Cooker

The device looks good. However, it has very few features (for example, the steaming function is automatically 30 minutes and cannot be changed, whereas it is far too long for several foods). The instructions are very little detailed and sometimes contradictory, requiring trial and error, even while consulting the instructions in English. If I had to do it again, I would consider a more "evolved" device of the same brand since this version seems much too "basic" to justify its price.

Few features and laconic instructions

It happens rice's sticking and dry after cooking. The inner pot is not thick enough.

I received the rice cooker they advertised as a 12‑cup size, but the box clearly says 12 cups after cooking and only 6 cups before cooking. Who on earth sells a rice cooker based on after‑cooking capacity? This is a complete waste of my time and money. It's absolutely infuriating and honestly one of the worst experiences I've had.

well i ordered this as a gift for my fricane early but box is kinda beat up .. i sunno what happened,,i cant open it as ive said its for a gift hopefully it works. If not i will return it . im a bit dissappointed
