this wok gets really hot so plan for utensils that won't warp and melt. 
After our non stick wok started falling apart, I researched more natural alternatives. cast iron seemed really heavy and fussy to maintain. stainless came up next and all of the advice online from long term users cited this Cuisinart 14 in. 
it is very big but it's light weight. so far I'm very pleased with how it cooks. it's a  little more than I wanted to spend but I do see the value in the quality. many reviewers also said that they had owned this brand/model for decades and I see why.

This is my first time cooking on Stainless steel. I took a leap and tried Cuisinart's wok, and I love it. It's a bit bigger and wider than my old Calphalon wok so I am getting used to the size difference. I've cooked scrambled eggs in it (for fried rice) and a sauce, stir-fried vegetables, and made fried rice. It took me a few tries to get the proper butter/oil coating down to prevent sticking to the pan, but do it right and your results are amazing. The cleanup was easy -despite the bulky wok - and Bar Keepers Friend polishes the stainless steel to look like new. I love cooking batches of meat and vegetables for stir fry in this! It is the perfect addition to my Cuisinart stainless steel set. I know not everyone cooks with a wok, but it is one of my favorite kitchen items and Cuisinart has made a terrific piece! The glass lid is not really necessary ( you don't need a lid for stir fry generally speaking; it makes things mushy) but it's nice to have. I just wish it were less wide, that's all!

I bought this especially for my daughter who seems to burn everything. She can burn things in this, and it cleans up like new. These are in destructible.  Just take a little barkeepers friend and a nylon pad and it cleans quickly. 

Also, preseasoning the pan helps.  Just heat some oil until it smokes, swish it around in the pan, then let the pan sit. The preseasoning helps with sticking and cleaning.

Nice heavy pan

I'm a Cuisinart fan, and having to upgrade all of my cookware after switching from gas to induction it only made sense to upgrade to a Cuisinart walk for compatibility. This walk is huge and much larger than many others I shopped for. Very sturdy and durable and feels like it's going to last a very long time. Very happy with this purchase!

Great large capacity wok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 14" Stir-Fry Pan. I've been cooking my breakfast and dinner in it most every day. It was suggested to use medium heat which I do. If I'm boiling water to steam veggies I'll set the heat on median high till I get it going than drop the heat down to median. The pan is easy to clean with soap and water. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Cooks food evenly.

Nothing co complaint with stainless steel  Cuisinart. Good size and heat fast. Would highly recommend this.

Good brand!

Stainless steel will cause food to stick if it's not seasoned prior to every use by bringing oil to smoke point for 15-20 seconds. Cleaning can require some "elbow grease."

I have used the pan 2 times. Once for a giant batch of sausage gravy and once to make a giant batch of sloppy jo. Loved it! The sausage for the gravy and the ground beef for the sloppy jo browned nicely and cleanup was a breeze! I'm certain it will work well for a giant batch of marinara too!

Great stainless skillet

i knew I shouldn't have overlooked the fact that this isn't tri-ply or 18/10 or 18/8 steel, but I did and then i got what the price was screaming: cheap, low-grade, thin, toy like, food sticking "steel". i'm not new to steel. i knew this wouldn't be all clad, but i thought i'd be at least getting Ross or Tj Maxx quality steel: WRONG! This wok weighs much less than the glass cover; let yourself imagine that. I honestly don't understand the good reviews. i'm so disappointed in cuisinart as a brand. the only reason i've given it two stars is because I ended up keeping it for deep frying, Only.
