Great item

I bought this to do eggs without eating bread.  Works great with cheese,bacon peppers and anything else you want.  Can hold like a sandwich.  Also works real good with bread for sandwiches too.

My wife loves it!  She's pregnant, so she eats about every 10 seconds and realistically we need 6 of these just to satiate her appetite.  An if we run out of bread, dear lord, we are in deep water.

Needless to say, it's easy to use and does a good job at it's intended function.  The sandwiches come out toasty and are enjoyable.

NEED MORE SANDWICH GRILLS!!!

While visiting my so before the holidays, my daughter-in-law made a grilled sandwich for my son and I. It was the best, I asked how this was made and what to buy to make once I returned home. Once I did return home, I ordered a Cuisinart Sandwich Grill for myself. I paced for two days till it was delivered to my home. I could not wait any longer. I cleaned my new Sandwich Grill up and put it to use. I now can say I am a Sandwich Grill expert, and I owe it all to Cuisinart! Thank you so much for this Grill.

Wonderful to have

I bought this sandwich maker recently and it works quickly and efficiently.  One of the things I wish is that it were easier to clean.  Because the griddle is so shallow,  cheese (even once slice) tends to ooze out of the back of the maker and get all over the working parts.  I don't use it as often as I could because I dread cleaning the mess.

Easy to use

I bought this to replace another one I had purchased ages ago. Upon moving the grill disappeared. I'm giving it 4 stars because it should have removable inserts. We use it a lot especially in the morning for quick omelets and of course grilled cheese sandwiches. On occasion, we even use it to make cinnamon rolls for breakfast. It does them very well and quick. It would be much nicer if the inserts were removable. My daughter bought one with removable grills and it does make cleaning much easier. She still prefers this little sandwich grill.

Great Little Grill

The sandwich grill was harder to clean then I expected. The output was not exceptional and my feelings are that a flat grill would produce a more satisfactory result !!

Didn't meet my expectations !!!!

The top is not hinged so that it will lift up and over the sandwich, so if you put in too much filling you cannot get the top closed properly, if at all.  If you add cheese on the sandwich, even a small amount (like one slice) it will leak out of the sandwich and then out of the unit making a mess that is almost impossible to clean up.  The cheese sticks and burn on the outside edges.  I have had other sandwich grills that never had these problems.  I have used this one three times, and I will not be using it ever again! My recommendation  is - do NOT buy this product.

Terrible Product

I used it 3 times. I tried to make a ham and cheese sandwich. Ended up with cheese all over my counter and the thing was impossible to clean. Threw it in the garbage.
