Really nice little burner. Heats well. Very attractive, I got the silver one. Great for frying, boiling water or heating/cooking anything like you would on the stove top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love this thing its nice lookjing and it works great. and if i would off lisnen to the bad reviews i would of lost a good thing and i have to say those negative things that were said theirs no way possible  they need to learn how to use a stove  and if they  we're having a bad day.   its a beautiful win for me.

Arrived on time and it's just what I need right now. My rapid boil element on my stove seems to be stuck on high, so it's hard to cook anything other than to boil water for pasta, cause it won't go lower than a full boil, no matter where I set the knob.  I can now cook pancakes, or scrambled eggs without burning everything.  This is really easy to use, and will come in handy around the holidays. I'll use this until I get a replacement part for my stove, but I do plan on using it more, cause it keeps the temperature just right. Worth the money and looks good too.

just what I needed

Bearing in mind that it IS a hot plate and not a full-sized appliance, it can get the job done. It does take quite a while to come up to full heat and be ready to use, so I recommend patience and maybe a little higher setting than you intend to ultimately use (especially if what you're adding to the pan is frozen) The cycling on and off can be annoying but I don't notice it happening so much during cooking, more so during the preheating time. Don't expect restaurant quality performance out of it, but as a stand-in stove or additional space to cook multiple sides for a large meal, it's worth the price in my opinion.

A little quirky, takes patience

It is very good stove, it has worked perfect, but I must say that aluminum stain very quickly, and takes time for the burners to heat, however it meets its use, but it is better to buy it in black so the cracks will not be noticed as much as the silver color lol.

The burners cook very good  and seem to heat evenly. May take a few minutes to reach temperature, But does a good job, I am having a hard time cleaning it, it's turning around the burners.

I was under the impression this was a 1800 watt setup, it is in fact two 900 watt  burners that equal 1800 watts. The burners take a long time to heat up. I've only cooked on max setting. The one plus is it's difficult to smoke out the house with this unit. If you need a hot plate this will get it done just really slow.

I Was Given This As A B'Day Gift %26 Very Disappointed  Once I Connected It To Use. It Does Not Get Hot Enough To Boil Water On 3-5 %26 Barely Reaches That Point On 11. The Outer Surface Gets %26 Maintains Heat Even W/The Burner Turned Off. I Was Very Disappointed As I Had High Expectations For This Hot Plate, I Also Purchased The Extended Warranty. My Old Mainstay Hot Plate Heats %26 Cooks Better Than This Unit   It's  Cheaper.This Unit Also Does Not Stay On For More Than 20 Mins. Making It Difficult To Cook A Meal. Heating Element Needs Improving As Does The Surface Area. Expensive Isn't Always Better. I Did Return This Cusimax 1800W Counter Top Burner To Walmart For A Full Refund.
