Excellent lamp, but the packaging was horrible; the styrofoam had deteriorated and fallen apart into hundreds of little pieces. It took me a half hour just to clean it all up

I looked a long time for a lamp for my office desk at work! The swing arm on this one me makes it perfect! Very satisfied with the product and the service!

Great little lamp. Fits just right on our desk. Doesn't put out a blinding white light because of the "smoky" colored shade. Just what we needed!

Darn good lamp for the price

Lamp looks great, even using a standard 30 watt bulb instead of the smaller specialized bulb from the photos.  There is one big glaring (potential) flaw, however.  The arm swings outwards in the direction of the power cord, i.e. the wall, making the whole contraption utterly pointless.  If you actually intend to make regular use of the hinged arm, then do NOT buy this lamp.  Otherwise if you're like me and you just wanted a handsome lamp to soften a dark corner, then 5 stars great buy.

Great form! But awful function.

Although I really liked almost everything about this lamp--the size, shape and overall mission-style 'look;--I found the mica shade to be just too thin.  Instead of nicely diffusing the light, I could just see the light bulb and harp very clearly through the shade.  So, I'm returning the lamp--although reluctantly.  :(

Shade Too Thin

The lamp looks great when viewed from a distance.  If one looks at it more closely from slightly above or below the shade, the inside mica retainers are pinkish and not dark in color and ruin the effects of the lamp. I guess you get what you paid for. Still, I was very disappointed in the quality of the shade construction.

Everything is great but arm that holds shade makes the shade crooked.  Would be nice if the shade was level.  Besides that it beautiful.

This lamp arrived unassembled in a box from a manufacturer in China. Disappointed. Still haven't put it together because I've been too busy.
