Great purchase, beautiful  lamp

I purchased this lamp online at the store since not available in-store. I did check out the other lamps on the floor  to get an idea of quality.  I ordered it while I was there and the salesman was very nice.  I chose this model because of the copper finish and amber glass shade.  I was fully expecting that I might have to return. I was wrong; it was as though I custom designed it.  The color fit in perfectly and it made the corner of this room come alive, with a soft amber glow on first setting, for the first time in many years.  It uses a 3-way bulb which I really love and it's a pretty sturdy torchiere.  I love the lamp 100%.  Also, it was very easy to assemble but you might want a second person to hold the tubing while the cord is being pulled through.  Buy a LED 3-way bulb at the big box store for about $23.

It was as though I custom designed, it fit decor so well!

Great floor lamp.

Lamp is definitely attractive. There is a weight in the base that keeps it stable, apparently made from cement enclosed in thin rigid plastic. This cannot be seen since it is underneath the visible metal base. Today, when it was picked up to be moved a few feet, the cement weight fell out because the enclosing plastic cracked. It cannot be repaired since the cement is in dust and pieces.
