[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for a 5 year old who absolutely loves being creative. This was easy enough for him to do by himself with a little adult guidance. The beads are tiny, so we sure to have a place to secure them or it can lead to some frustration. He spent hours creating designs and having fun. Highly recommend.

Kiddo loves this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All my kids enjoy aqua beads, but my daughter was especially found of this set. She loves all the magical unicorn ideas to follow. This kit is unique because it comes with accessory's to make your designs stand up or to put them on display. The star beads can be a little difficult to work with but they are usable and are a nice little flare to give texture to your unicorns!

Cute kit

This little set is not up to the standards of other Calico Critters toys.  You would assume a toy train would have moving wheels, but you would be wrong.  The train just barely scrapes along the tracks and does not stay on.  The train cars do not stay together, either.

Very low quality

My 3 year old daughter received this for Christmas.  Compared to the other calico Critter sets, ive noticed all the baby sets are really cheaply made.  You can definitely tell a difference comparing them to the regular furniture sets.  This train doesnt even have moving wheels.  Definitely difficult for a young child to play with.  Would not recommend.  Spend a few extra dollars to get a nice made calico critter set.
