<p>Have limited space but major storage needs? calico designs' study corner desk provides ample space for computer and work accessories all in a compact, efficient work station. It features a spacious lower shelf for CPU or supplies and a top shelf for addit.</p>

The shelves are particle board with colored paper glued onto them. This paper coating is fragile and can easily be damaged if the bolts are inserted in the wrong direction lifting the paper coating and ruining the finish. In addition the assembly directions are very vague and confusing. We assembled it and then took it back apart twice before we got the holes for the panels to line up and got it right. The parts on the other hand are extremely well labeled and the metal portions are sturdy. This cheaper option will do for now until I can find a more sturdy, similar sized, upgrade.

I bought the black and grey one for my daughter.  just put it together and the black sheet "glued" on it was ripped! this was her birthday gift and now I feel terrible because its all tore up and she hasn't even used it! the manufacturers of this product should be ashamed!

This desk is the perfect fit for a smaller space.  The webpage features a laptop sitting on the desk, but I have a large all-in-one with a 24" monitor and it holds it just fine.  The only thing this desk is missing is a slide-out keyboard tray, but I purchased one that clamps on and solved that problem.  It was easy to put together.  The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because one of the feet had the threads stripped so it would not screw onto the adjoining piece; also the screws that attach the top metal border were malformed and completely useless.  The manufacturer's website has a very convenient section for ordering replacement parts (they obviously have had this problem before) and I am still waiting for the replacement foot and screws to arrive (confirmed today that they were shipped yesterday and should be here in 5 days).  Overall, it is a great value for the price.

Great little desk at a reasonable price

My kids really like it once it's assembled but the assembly is not easy to follow but can de done by one person in one hour. I think the very last step should be moved earlier and the laminate is cracked in some areas already but my kids like it a lot overall.

Nice desk but not easy to understand directions

I love it, it fits in the corner just right and very easy to set up.
