[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I haven't set this umbrella up fully for spring/summer yet, I unboxed it and tested out its functionality . It's beautiful, brightly colored, and feels really sturdy. It's going to be a great addition to my patio this summer. I like how you can customize the tilt. Only downside is I didn't realize it came without a base, so will need to add that on with a good quality stand, given its height and weight.

It is fairly sturdy and folds back together easily. I'd recommend the California Umbrella for shade and improving the area it is in !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this California Umbrella 9' Venture Series Patio Umbrella! It's a beautiful blue color and feels well made. This umbrella provides a decent amount of shade and is very easy to set up. This has a push lift system which means you physically have to push the umbrella up then secure it with a metal key. It's easy to do though. Overall I love the way this looks in my backyard. It's sturdy but also light enough that I was able to set it up on my own. I'd recommend this umbrella as it's really quite nice!

The material is nice and thick and the ribs and pole feel very substantial. I think this will be very durable. I love how big the umbrella is and that the pole is nice and tall so that even my 6ft tall husband can walk under it without bumping his head. This is an awesome additional to our back patio and will be amazing for when we want to be out back yet keep cool from the hot California sun!

If you have any patio that tends to get a lot of sun and would love to have a shade option, this would suit the situation. Easy setup. Could fit in most outdoor spaces. The color isn't my favorite but it works. The actual umbrella is built nicely. The thing that needs to be considered is the base. It would be cool if they sold a version that came with the base too. I understand not everyone would necessarily need one due to the longevity of the piece but maybe have both options. I do recommend.
