Camco's 5.3 gallon portable toilet is designed for camping, Rving, boating or any other recreational activity. Its sturdy polyethylene construction is compact and lightweight. The 5.3 gallon holding tank is detachable and includes a sealing slide valve to lock in odors and protect against leakage. It includes two slide latches to secure the tank to the toilet and a carrying handle for easy transport. The toilet employs an easy to use piston-type flush and pull slide valve for easy flushing. The toilet measures 16.38"High by 13.75"Wide by 16.13"Deep. It weighs 11 lbs empty. Included is a packet of Camco's TST biodegradable toilet chemical.

This came in handy for a recent 3 day camping trip. (2 people ) it is sturdy and flush pump worked surprisingly well. I used the blue Porta Pak brand drop ins and there was absolutely no smell.  Clean up was easy as well because of that. The seals are strong.   I'm glad I purchased this size can't imagine sitting any lower on a smaller one but this has good heighth. After reading all reviews of all kinds, clearly this is the one!

What a wonderful upgrade from our older port a potty!  We've been camping for years and were using an older, smaller port-a-potty.  We decided to upgrade to a larger one (this one sits the same height as a regular toilet).  It's easy to use and very easy to clean.  Love it!

Happy Camper

The bowl has one water jet that activates when the bellows on top is pressed down. Make sure the drain cap is attached tightly before the first use- found out the hard way myself. It's easy to empty and clean and it really does work like a charm. I have no fear that it can hold my weight- over 150lbs. I would suggest for men that they sit to do #1 because the bowl is small and will splash. To flush, pull the middle handle and everything drops down into the holding tank; just push it back in and push the bellows to put water in the bowl. That stops odors from coming into the room. I'm gonna measure the threads and see if I can attach a pvc threaded pipe with a bayonet fitting attached to that, then a rv sewer end to make dumping easier. I'd highly recommend it for a car, van, truck, RV, tent or anywhere an extra toilet is needed. Great to keep for disasters or other emergencies.

Works like a charm

I bought this toilet for my tent trailer. My wife and I used it on a four day camping trip the clean tank was big enough we didnt have to refill it, and the dirty tank was big enough we didnt have to dump until we got back home. I didnt have any leaks and dumping was very easy. The only thing that could be better on this, is maybe a deeper bowl its a little shallow for men, but it gets the job done, and is more convenient than digging holes.

Gets the job done

We were surprised  by how comfortable the portable toilet is and how great is have it where you need it and therefore no running to the bathroom.  It is easy to keep clean as well and no awful smell., We are very happy with this purchase.

Not full of it anymore!

My husband is a trucker and this was PERFECT for him to take along in his truck. In these times we are living in with all this Covid, he never has to use public restrooms now!! I would highly recommend this little potty!

The product is made of a durable material

This worked very well on our pontoon boat. Wife, and daughters like it. Beats making a special trip back to shore if you have to use the facilities.

The seat opening is round, not oval, and the opening is too small for men. The bowl is too shallow. Again, too shallow for men (let your imagination do the rest). 

The holding tank discharge port is situated halfway down the tank, and it leaked making a terrible smelly mess!

Don't buy this.

I will return it...
