This is a light gel with lots of moisture that lasts.  For a stronger hold, I layer this under  Camille rose Curlmaker. I have low porosity 3c/4a curls. It provides incredible definition alone or paired with Curlmaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I WILL ORDER THIS AGAIN.  I LOVE THE WAY IT SMELLS AND IT MAKES MY HAIR LOOK GOOD AND FEEL GOOD!

I have been using this product for years...it is my staple styler.  I stocked up on Black Friday and just today opened up one of the new jars.  I still had some of what I now refer to as the "original formula" so I wanted to waste not one drop.  When I opened up the new jar, I immediately noticed the smell-the yummy, vanilla fragrance had been replaced with a strong, hard to describe floral odor.  I immediately checked out the ingredients and compared them to what is listed on the "original formula" jar.  Lo & behold, the new formula has half the ingredients.  I went into shock.  I am so disappointed.  I would like either a refund or a replacement of the three jars I purchased.  I guess when you go global you have to compromise and sacrifice what got you there.  Very sad.

It's unfortunate, the formula has changed. I use to live the buttercream scent. The ingredients have changed and they have included parfum and now it smells like a chemical local BB product. I really wish they would just increase price instead of 
changing formula.
