This product is awesome and only had 3 left anywhere in my location. I immediately purchased them when I saw this. So glad that I did!

Great hair product

I purchased this because I kept reading and hearing that it was clarifying. It isn't. It takes a while to lather, and it didn't clean my hair all that well. It was an excellent detangler, however, with very high slip.
While my hair felt detangled while the shampoo was on, my hair mask (by California naturals) could not penetrate my hair, since the shampoo left a film on it. Therefore, my hair tangled back up, did not get deep conditioned, and resulted in several hours of detangling with hair products when I got out of the shower. 
I imagine this may pair well with the Camille rose conditioner it's marketed with. 

I will say that the viscosity is too thick to come out of the top easily (similar to the Camille Rose clarifying rinse). 

If deciding between this and the cleansing rinse, I'd recommend the ginger rinse for a moisturizing and detangling shampoo (as long as your conditioner is compatible), and the clarifying rinse for a moisturizing and clarifying shampoo (especially if you have a Shea butter-based deep conditioner; it doesn't have as much slip as the ginger rinse, but it does define and clump coils extremely well). 

My hair is low porosity, protein sensitive, with fine to medium strands.

Excellent Detangler but Not clarifying

Good scent, worked well with my hair.  My bottle had the foil security cover stuck in the lid and I didn't notice until after getting in the shower so I couldn't take advantage of the pointed lid.  I likely fix that before next use.

The product seems to dry out the hair tremendously which is a big no no for me

This smelled horrible. It usually smells like oranges but I just have gotten a bad batch.
