I read a glowing review in Outdoor Life magazine so I thought I'd try this Tigersharp knife by Camillus. It's sturdy and extremely sharp. Definitely a "real" knife! I was wondering how well the replacement blade fit, but it's absolutely tight... metal-to-metal contact (couldn't get the thinnest piece of paper between the blade and the holder) and works just like a regular knife. I take it backpacking and its great. A friend has one and he resharpens his blade until he boogers up the edge and it gets hard to restore, then he replaces the blade. I think I'll just change mine out instead of resharpening. It's good quality stainless steel and stays sharp a long time though. The way you replace the blade is pretty ingenious and can be done quickly and safely without tools. This knife is the perfect size and heft for me. The replacement blades that can be stored in the sheath is an added bonus. Really worth the 5 stars I gave it, I think.

Easy to swap blades out and very sharp.
Loosen nut on outer blade and slide rear, tap blade up into the outer blade section and swing out the old blade, easy to do.
This is a handy feature that would work great while in the field and you can sore extra blades in the sheath under the knife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Camillus Tigersharp knife is just that, sharp! It has a clever replacement blade system and comes with a straight blade installed, a spare straight blade and a spare serrated blade. It takes a little getting used to doing the blade replacement but it's pretty straight forward and easy once you get the hang of it. The only drawback is there's nowhere on the included sheath to store the spare blades. Other than that it's a great knife!

It is quality and the changeable blades are a great idea. the sheath could use improvement with a metal or hard plastic at tip and sides so it wouldn't cut it

The blades are sharp and easy to replace, if you due not follow the pictures - tap the back of the blade not the edge. Handle is great and very comfortable. Two major problems I see with this knife is that there is no storage option on the sheaf for the extra blades, and there is nothing on the packaging to order replacement blades.
