Heavy duty enough to hold two large Chickens upright in my Brinkman smoker. We hand rubbed the chickens with a rub mixture we liked. Smoked them over the water pan with onions slices in the water. We put wet hickory chips and mesquite chips in a can on the electric burners. We smoked the chickens for about 10 hours, over night. We were worried we had smoked to long but they turned out perfect. All fat dripped out, The flavor was wonderful. All the fat in the chicken dripped out yet the chicken was still moist.

I had a single beer can stand which worked okay, but had no lift handles. I just used this two days ago with two chickens, and it was easy to put on and take off the grill because of the raised side bar handles. the only fault I can give it, and it is a minor one, is that there is little room between the two chickens, but that is dependent on the size of the chickens and the orientation of the two birds. They were both at temperature at the same time, but I  did rotate the rack half way through, so that seemed to work perfectly. The wire used is very stout and the whole thing feels very well made and like it will last forever. It does require some attention to clean because you need to follow all the twists and turns (if you hand wash). If you want more than one chicken, this is the rack to get.

Makes two "can" chickens easy!

I bought 5 of these more than 4 years ago and use them 6 days a week at my restaurant. After 4 years a couple of them started breaking on the welded joints. For how much I used them and the cost I would say it a very good deal. I just bought 4 more that will last me years to come.

We are a huge grilling family -- year round January through December.  Husband enjoys grilling beer can chicken and honestly stumbled on this while on Walmart's website... can't believe this even existed -- we just used beer cans to sit the chicken on this was by far a welcomed way to well make beer can chicken. Easy to use. Easy to assemble , clean and store. Highly recommend.

I have a single beer can chicken holder. It worked well. I bought the double so when I have friends over I could cook two full chickens. Worked great. These inserts for going in the chicken are longer and stabilize the chicken while roasting. Did these on my Pit Boss and came out excellent.

This is a big thing. You will need a big broiling pan for oven use. The chickens are stable while attached to this rack. That might be the most important characteristic of this rack. Due to the size of beer cans the center mounts for the chickens are wide. It takes a little bit of work to stretch the birds over these stands. That being said the rack looks good and is chrome covered. I have not used it many times. It does what it needs to do. The welds look OK. If the chrome doesn't peel off this will be a great addition to my cooking tool set.
