About five years ago Campbell's changed and destroyed the flavor. It has a putrid taste now and I agree with others that it is not edible. It used to be great.
Campbell's has been changing things for the worse in many ways. They have replaced great condensed soups with new variations that are inferior. eg minestrone, vegetable beef, tomato.

not edible

I used it as a sauce for pasta and could not eat it. Then I tried it just as a soup. Again, I could not eat it. I am not a fussy eater. This has a barely detectable cheese flavour. It's an orange goo with an attempt at a cheese taste. I would have bought it often if it tasted good.

Tastes nasty

This soup has no cheese flavour at all. It used to be so good. Has a nasty bitter taste and I'm glad I didn't add it to anything. I threw it out
