Love these!

We got this for my sons tenth birthday. It was amazing and not loud at all. Didnt make a huge mess and was very neat. Doesnt taste great alone but when ate with the cake you cant taste it as the pieces are very small. Very easy to use. Open it up put it on the cake no need to mash the inside piece down which i debated on doing since it looked like it needed it done. Glad i didnt. Fill it with the edible glitter and light it when your ready. You wont regret it. We will get another one for his next party.

this is pretty dope, we read through the reviews and were skeptical.. but if you READ the instructions on the back it says will burst in ten seconds.. so when you're reading and it says goes off too quick or we missed it..its because you lit it too EARLY. light at yhe end of happy birthday and then it goes off blow out candles and enjoy.. not loud at all.. very very cool .

who doesn't love glitter?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is actually a great little idea. The glitter is edible. Doesn't really taste good. It's kind of like stale bread. The concept is on point. With a few little tweaks here and there it would be so awesome for so many occasions! I think they are in to something here!

Great and fun little candle

I had purchased this a few years ago and knew that it was a pretty good cake topper that pops edible glitter onto the cake, but I was very surprised that it costed almost double what I paid 2 years ago. It isn't that great for the price. But you do get 2 so you can have another for the next birthday.

Gives a nice extra flare for a birthday cake!

i used it for my birthday cake. it exploded edible glitter on the top of my cake. it looked pretty but be advised- it's nothing dramatic or extravagant. i still liked it! super easy to use. just pour 1/2 the glitter pack into the tube and light it after you place it on your cake. i think it's worth the $5 for 2. i would purchase it again!

cute but not extravagant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute idea for any celebration cake but the quality of the product is very cheaply made, the gold paper around the candle was falling off inside the packaging. The directions say to pour pink/blue edible confetti glitter into the candle but the package only includes one gold and silver packet. The glitter itself doesn’t melt in your mouth instantly and tastes like hard plastic pieces. Simple directions to follow and once you’ve use the candle it isn’t reusable and can be discarded. As for the performance, I poured a good amount of glitter filling the candle but none of it landed on my cake, majority fell all over the table and the remaining glitter that was stuck and didn’t explode, I manually transferred onto the cake by shaking the candle itself. Judging from the price, the quality could use improvement from a plastic tube with glitter paper halfway glued on sitting on my cake.

To start, the "edible" confetti is DISGUSTING. Then when it popped there were sparks and got to my counter. just horrible

horrible. be careful where you do it

I got it for a birthday cake i made for my boyfriend, Time came to sing happy birthday %26 literally it didn't even 🎉....yet it did because there was confetti of to the floor %26 not on cake. It says to have it leveled which i was holding on a cake stand,and i was waiting for it to pop up with confetti like a surprise bkuz he didn't know. Yet it never went off %26 i was like wow,i had told him what it was %26 we looked all over cake no confetti than we saw it on the floor which doesn't make sense because it never popped but i guess it did.

Was expecting something more surprising
