Camera body is straightforward to navigate.

Captures detailed images in various lighting conditions.

I've used mirrorless cameras before, but the Rp is a bear in terms of user-friendliness, and the ability to move from a DSLR platform.  I'm used to shooting in M mode, and the Rp has the fewest physical buttons, but probably the most multi-functional buttons of any camera I've seen or used.  That, in my opinion, makes the Rp learning curve quite steep, and there's been more than one occasion when I've spent as much time searching for how to change a setting than I've spent taking photos.  That being said, I really like the feel of the Rp, the IQ is very, very good, the RF 24-105 lens allows me to go about with only the one lens, and for three times the price I couldn't have gotten a better full frame body and lens.  I'm looking forward to becoming more proficient at finding and changing settings, and 'more' out of my Rp.

I have a Canon Rebel t-5 that I really like then I bought myself the EOS RP love at first click. Pictures are so crisp and the camera is so easy to use.. Just one down side lens just for the RP are so few and expensive so I was really glad it came with the adapter to use the same lens as my rebel which I have several different ones.

It is great! Perfect for people who just start their photography and want to have a full frame camera. I love this screen, it is so amazing especially the drag to move focus point function. Considered of its price, it is absolutely the best and easiest to start full frame camera.

Great camera! Megapixel count definitely shows in the pictures as they are incredibly detailed. Much heavier in a good way, sturdier than everyone says.

EOS RP Body

After doing a lot of research on mirrorless cameras, I finally purchased my first one, the EOS RP. Right away I noticed a difference in clarity and consistency in my shots.

Awesome camera

A little more than a month using the camera. Very good appearance and condition when received, virtually like new. Only issue I have is that the RP appears to not have a digital video zoom capability. I am using the camera body for Astrophotography and this was a feature I was really looking forward to having, it is very useful in planetary imaging. The 4K video does automatically have a X 1.7 zoom. But I would have liked having the 3X to 10X zoom that many Canon R products have. Anyway this is my largest disappointment. Still for the cost it is a very good full frame camera!

EOS RP renewed

a couple years ago I bought I t6i, great little camera for entering into the dslr world. I took photos everyday, taught myself the basics and learned landscape photography. soon I found that I wanted more, more features, better quality, better this better that, but I stuck with the t6i. I learned how to use my tool, taking portraits, sports, astro, and landscapes. found out that a camera is only a tool, there are many options, but if you are creative enough, then any of them will work. I don't do video, so I don't care about frames per second or that this camera crops in 4k, but I do care about taking my learning to the next level, full frame level. this camera is amazing for entry level full frame users, it has great image quality and not difficult to use. the adapter for the ef and efs lenses works perfect. you don't have to worry about rushing into the new rf lenses, if your a canon user, all your lenses will work. the battery is the same as the rebels, so I am able to interchange everything I own. don't listen to all the youtubers about video or even dynamic range, I have never had a problem with my t6i, just learn correct exposure and you will be fine, or bracket photos, problem solved. works great in low light, good quality at high iso. if you want in to the full frame world and on a budget, this is a great option.

This is my first mirrorless and first full frame camera. So far I love it! I give this 4 stars because of its battery life. My only complaint. Other than that I am very satisfied!

Battery life.

I brought this camera a week ago and I'm kind of regretting it. The Panasonic G7 which I believe was launched 5 years before the RP comes out ahead of the camera and the RP has electronics and components that is worlds advanced than the G7 yet the camera exactly drastically under performs a camera that is 5 years older than it. 

For example 

RP has a max burst rate of 5fps the G7 has 8.1 fps
RP has a max rate of 24fps in k4 without dual pixel autofocus and the the G7 does k4 in 30fps 
The RP when focused on a blue sky kind of washes out the blue and looks a lot whiter the g7 has a much more beautiful blue color. 

Both cameras have roller shutter effect and banding but it's less noticeable on the G7, unfortunately neither camera have a log profile but using custom settings you get a lot more flexibility with the G7 

The G7 basically leaps ahead in many aspects to a newer camera. To which I believe a lot of it is held back at the firmware level. I can't understand why canon won't push the camera at the firmware level as much as possible because after studying the hardware the digic 8 processor has the capabilities to offer everything the camera does not have. 

The RP could beat the competition in many ways and become a very powerful entry level full frame camera that's affordable. But currently it falls to last place against many weaker cameras that this camera should be able to beat but doesn't. 

Hoping canon launches a new firmware that enables the camera to reach its full potential .
