I use this for printing photos.  I also have a Pro 100, but I hope to have a more economical printer when I don't need the utmost in quality.  I have not had it for long, so I can't comment on reliability or actual number of pages of print per tank.  However, the output is beautiful, and the printer is easy to setup and use.  It connects via WiFi reliably.  The only problem I have had is that when using a thick paper, such as watercolor paper, you can only have a couple of pages in the input tray (back feed).  Fortunately, it does have a back feed because this type of paper would not feed from below.

Very easy to set up. Remember to attach the printer heads. Pouring the ink into the tank should be done wearing gloves. If ink gets on your fingers it is difficult to get off.
Paper is placed at the back of the printer. Speed of printing is excellent. To save ink, set printing to economy. Well worth the money.

so far so good! The Quality depends must on the papel rather than the printer. I have test several papers from bond to vinyl, im loving it!

The best printer ever had

I love this printer, easy to install no mess tones of ink, the price is good works beautifully. The way this printer works compared to the ones with cartridges in no time is paid of it takes a ton of ink with the money of two cartridges for the other printers you can buy ink to fill the tank. I wish I had discovered this sooner i could have saved a big amount of money.

If this printer is replacing a defunct printer. keep your USB cord if you are planning to have it connected to your laptop or computer, it only comes with a power cord. The instructions are clear and the ink is very easy to load - no drips or problems. Getting used to turning it on each day, (my other one was always on), it goes through a brief prep period before it prints. The print quality is excellent both in black and white and in colour - it is accurate and no detail in a colour photo is missing. The print speed is excellent. I've only had it one week but so far I am delighted with the performance and ease of set-up. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone.

Best printer in a long time

Perfect for our family needs! You can scan and print using wifi! High quality print and easy to install. I didn't expect it coming with three black ink! That was a plus! 

I would definitely recommend this to families who have school learners and small businesses! Very satisfied with our megatank printer!

Amazing printer!

This printer comes with good instructions and was super easy to set up, including the connection to wifi and my smartphone.  The ink levels are visible at the front, and the print quality is great for my needs.  I would have appreciated a larger screen though.  One feature I miss is automatic duplex printing; however, reloading the paper for double sided printing is clearly explained.  I appreciate not having to purchase expensive cartridges; I had quite a few left over when my previous printer died.

So far, so good

It is not an "All-in-One" as advertised, as it does have fax capabilities.
There is no scanner feed so one has to put items to be copied or scanned in one at a time.  This is very awkward and time consuming.  
It does not use Canon MP Navigator, so scanning is very cumbersome at best.  You must go into the settings before you scan something to indicate where you want to put the document. You can go into settings every time you are going to scan something to set the title, but it automatically changes them to something else anyways. This "scan utility" is extremely annoying.  
The only thing that seems to be good about this printer is that the ink supply lasts longer than the small cartridges that are used on other printers.

Not an "All-in-One"

Stone age software both for desktop %26 the mobile app as well as impossible to read dull display screen. But that's not the painful part, the painful part is that the printer every now and then takes forever on "lease Wait Momentarily" message, so much so that you would have to restart it. And last but not the least, a black-only print just stopped moving half-way, I waited 5 minutes then had to restart and reprint. To summarize, it's full of glitches.

Print quality is great.  I haven't been able to get AirPrint to work from my phone no matter what I try.  The WiFi printing is also sporadic and doesn't work most of the time.

Print quality is great but wireless printing needs improvement

No duplex printing on this printer model, which is not mentioned anywhere on the box or in the online user manual.  A huge problem for large print jobs.  Refillable tanks are a good feature, but using twice as much paper is not. Time spent printing duplex manually is  another drawback. Canon support expressed only sympathy for my 'inconvenience'.
