I wanted a printer that was NOT wireless. I'm very pleased to have this wireless printer as  It does everything I need it  to---scanning, scans can be saved as PDF's, photo copying, color printing and it doesn't take up too much space.  It was very easy to  set up and easy to use. I've been using it for a few weeks now with no problems. The initial paper feed is a little clickety-clackety but the actual printing is rather smooth, quiet and fast. Be sure to purchase ink as this printer comes with starter ink cartridges which don't last long. Prints beautiful color prints on photo paper.

I use it in a wired with a separately bought cable configuration but it can be set up wireless. Ink cartridges are a little pricey but work well enough for my purposes. Scan and copy functions turn out clean documents and photos.

I don't use the printer for much mainly just to print credit card bills. This printer is all i need, and i wanted a two ink cartridge printer.

Needed a new printer, prefer Canon PIXMA  and Walmart had the best price and shipping was faster than originally stated.....

I had another Canon Printer/copier/scanner that was 10 years old when it finally gave up the ghost. This one is not as sturdy or quiet but it works well and I'm quite happy with it.

What I was looking for

This is a good budget printer. But it's basically a throw away item after a year of use. You will eventually get a "Ink Absorber Full" message and to have a service center repair the printer. That's too costly and inconvenient, so I just buy a new one and hope it lasts one year again

So So Printer

I bought this printer and it looks great, but I have not been able to use it. The usb cord that connects the computer is missing in the box. This is really an issue as there is no option for a wifi. If you want wifi capability and not having to buy any wires externally to get it to work, I would recommend going with another printer
