I got this printer to replace my MG3122 which had the dreaded ink absorber code. After several attempts at fixing it I decided now would be a good time to start fresh. I like the new matte black top as the printer sits near a window. I noticed this unit prints very fast! A nice upgrade indeed from the MG3122 I had. I look forward to may years of service with this unit.

Great printer. Tricky WiFi binding though

Very good choice a little misery to configure it with my computer because I do not take the CD and with internet a little too but I did it with my cell and it was very easy after my laptop detect it without problems. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it and I would take a second one without hesitation

the printer was easy to set up. small and pratical, i love it. lightweight. the quality of the printing is amazing. i got it when it was on sale. very good deal

This model is inexpensive yet the best printer I ever owned. I had the exact same model for 5 or 6 years and it died. I liked it enough to buy the exact same model. I had a hard time installing it because I forgot to delete the old one before installing the new one -- my bad. But the Canon tech rep stayed with me on the line until all was complete.

My second MG3620 -- can't go wrong.

Setup is clunky and I don't like that you have to download an app to install, but once it's installed, it's smooth sailing. Love the wireless printing from my iPhone. Everything has been a dream. This is my second PIXMA and have liked both.

Annoying setup but solid once done

The Canon PIXMA MG3620 does the job for printing and scanning.  The directions and user guidance provided neglects to note that to enable wireless printing if you have a dual band router, the computer must connect to the same band that the printer connects to.  The Canon printer only connects to the 2.4GHz band.  If the printer is connect to the 2.4 band and the computer connects to the 5GHz band, they are unable to communicate.  It does a good job of printing and scanning.  It has a very useful feature in that it can print on both sides of the paper.  Many similar models are not able to do double sided printing.

Printing and Scanning Competently

So far I had trouble connecting it to wifi unfortunately so it wasnt ready when I needed it.  I had to get the cord separately and bc I had some appointments I still havnt been able to double check it works properly.  It would have been nice if they had sold the cord with it so I could've had it set up on the first day I bought it.

Troubleshooting error

This is the second printer of this model that I have bought. I purchased it only because the previous printer used cartridge canon 240 and 241, which I had a surplus stock on hand and few other Canon printers used these cartridges. Otherwise I would have bought a different printer.

Not enough choices

Ok for price. The way the paper loads and comes out is not well designed and is awkward and kinda clunky. Ink install is super easy. Installing the printer was a HUGE pain on one of my pcs. On the other it was a bit of an annoyance but relatively smooth. It also loses points bc the wireless mg2920 is a better design, has a better print quality, and is cheaper. On the whole I would buy it again. It is my 3rd Canon printer. They use less ink, cost 50% less upfront, and last 4-5 times longer than HP. They have less jams too. I will never buy another HP again. My most recent mg finally wore out the rollers. I think I got it around 2014... Loooooooong time.

This appears to be a good printer.....I don't know for sure; as it was sent without one of the necessary power cords.    Please send the cord that gets plugged in on the back side, right-most and higher than the 2 -hole power cord ASAP PLEASE!
