This is our second Canon printer. Our first one died after giving us seven years of faithful service. It was lovingly laid to rest in the family cemetery. We found this smaller printer on line at Sam's. For $50 we purchased it and boy did it surprise us at it's speed and quietness. It is incredibly faster than our previous printer. This baby doesn't go through a lot of cycling in preparation for printing like the previous Cannon printer which is great. Sometimes we go weeks at a time printing very little. Then we have weeks where we print 360 pages or more, so how can we really know about this printer without time going by? But we will say this, so far, we are happy with this printer? Do we recommend it? Absolutely! We would do it again in a heartbeat. If this printer only holds up for one year, then we got a printer for $1 a week and that's not bad at all.

Cannon Printer

If you are looking for simplicity and efficiency, this the printer for you. We love how each of the ink cartridges is separate, so on runs out there are three more to use.
It prints quickly, no smearing. and usually, no jamming.
We have purchased a Canon printer previously, and would buy another when this is done.

Great printer

This is great printer. The setup was very easy on Windows 10 and it was also easy to setup as our wireless home network printer. The ink refills are reasonably priced if you shop around a little too. The shipping was really slow through FedEx, but that's the norm for them. I recommended this printer to all my friends.

Great Printer

Got this printer on Black Friday sale. We had the previous version of this printer, but this one is very updated in terms of functionality. It is all touch screen which the previous was not. Prints very easily from phone and tons of apps. Great photo printing.

The only knock I have so far is that the touch screen part is a little finicky if you are trying scroll down long lists of options, but that's not huge for everyday usage. Just when changing paper types, messing with in-depth features, etc.

Great Printer - lots of capability

I bought this to replace my Canon 5520 printer that was 1-1/2 years old. The only reason I replaced it was because the printhead had ceased working. Searching the web revealed that this is a common problem for the less expensive Canon printers (and possibly others). The printhead is replaceable, but costs twice as much as a whole new printer! Kind of ridiculous in my opinion. This printer uses the same printhead so I don't expect it to last any longer, but since I had already bought replacement cartridges I felt it would be the best use of my money. After all, printer cartridges aren't cheap! Now, as far as the printer quality... I rated a 4 due to the printhead, but I have to say the photo quality is excellent and the printer appears to be well constructed. It's virtually identical to the 5520 and it lasted 1-1/2 years and would still be going strong (moderate usage) if not for the printhead. The value is outstanding! For about $50 it's great. The scanner/copy function is really good and the functioning of the printer is flawless.

My 2nd Canon printer

This marks our 5th Canon Pixma in as many years, for some reason the print heads just quit after so much time. They always work perfectly, print beautifully, and have no issues with network connection when comped to other brands. The MG6620 has, so far, worked perfectly and we appreciate the touch-pad & interface. Hopefully the print head doesn't decide to just die any time soon.

So far so good!

It was a very good price and like cannon cameras that is why I decided to buy this printer. However, I was not able to install it. After I connected the screen said "error printing" and I was not able to fix it. I returned it. Also, I realized that the ink was very expensive.

couldn't install

This new printer is lacking a lot of the features my previous printer (Canon Pixma MG5220) had. Such as auto door open when print takes place, a rear paper feed to handle any size from 3 x 5 index cards to envelopes to 8.5 by 11 paper. Also the main paper cassette below the printer is not enclosed. the paper supply hangs out the front by about 3 inches.

I am going to purchase another model to replace this shoddy printer (shoddy as far as design goes). Also I did not pay the listed $147 for it. The price was a little over $100 and it is really not worth that. I only purchased it because my MG5220 quit working and would not power back on (it is not a power supply problem),
