What a great price. $99 down to $59! We researched well and the reviews were correct that it is a bit loud and slow, but it prints beautiful copies, has a multiple feed, prints in color and scans. Great basic printer, exactly what we wanted.

Great printing for a great price

The printer is ideal for a small jobs. It pairs well to my phone. 
The setup part was a bit difficult and I had to get assistance.
The explanations were hard to follow when something went wrong with the setup. I

Canon Pixma printer

This is an excellent product for the price paid.  As I don't use a printer much anymore, I didn't want it to be a big spend.  For what I paid, the wireless printing features, including printing directly from my Android phone works very well.

Excellent Value Printer

Unpacked the Printer, Read the Instructions, followed Instructions for setup. Since I already had a USB Cable Connection from my previous Canon Printer I choose to Connect to my Computer via the USB Connection. Followed the Online instruction setup, Downloaded Updates and Printer Drivers.  Printer Test Page, also tried a few other things and this New Printer/Scanner Copier works as would expected.  A step up from my previous Canon PIXMA Printer.

[Employee of walmartcanada] My last printer was on a subscription.  At first was great but later became too costly. Now with the Canon i can print as many pages without paying too much each time. With the Canon printer you can scan, fax or print photos or pages. The ink cartridges are actually less expensive then most other brands

Perfect for my needs

Finished setting it up but the website is really slow when going through the instructions. Then downloading the software took long because it kept not connecting properly took like 20 tries then it connected. The serial number is on the back of the printer and not the one shown on the box for the model number. So far it works well it comes with black and color ink.

The printer works well . Had some issues with the programing but after I figured  it out by myself everything was ok . The manufacturing  ( quality )of the unit is not at par with the canon I am replacing. The plastic is thin  and might be easy to break .Canon said my other canon printer is obsolete. So after replacing my computer the set up program of my  PERFECT old canon was impossible .SO I had ro replace .

Canon build quality is not like it used to be.

you get what you pay for.  it had a huge discount which is why I purchased the printer.  Instructions are horrible.  For personal use, it does the trick which is why I gave it 3/5.  If you are looking more for a business printer, I would buy and pay for a higher end printer.   Before I purchased this printer or any printer, I always check to see how much the ink cartridges are as this is where the company makes their big bucks.  From what I can see, the cartridges are relatively cheap.  It's not bad. I've had Canon before and it's always done pretty good for personal use.

Canon Printer

While this product was easy enough to set up the first time, when I moved, it would not connect to the wi-fi where I was renting. I can still print from my iPhone, but it's a little bit more of a hassle than I would like. I haven't been able to print from my Mac.

So-so; Not Great, not bad.

Poor instruction provided with package. return this printer as it locked up the print head no idea why.
I suspect one or more important details was not on the "set up page" as I went slow to make sure I did not miss a step. I purchased a Epson. Not much better as far as the paper instructions go but the steps on the lcd screen were good if not hard to read the small symbols. Plus the online instructions were ok if not a little muddled.
