Setup process is straightforward and quick.

Printer's wireless connection drops frequently, causing inconvenience.

Setup and operation are easy to understand.

The printer so far seems decent. I didn't get the color I wanted since Walmart didn't have black color printer online. I haven't taken much print outs yet and hence i can't comment on the number of prints you can get from one catridge. Quality of prints seems fine for both color and black&white. Setup is fairly straight forward. You just need to follow the steps mentioned in the setup guide. Overall, it seems good so far. In case I face any issues or find out any extraordinary features, I'll update here. In short, if you don't have too many prints to take, and is required only occassionally for home use, you can definitely go for it.

Canon Pixma - a decent printer that does it's job

This printer packs a huge punch for its price. The print quality is quite good and it's not noisy. It's also very easy to setup and use with all our devices - Windows, MacOs and Android

Lovely Print Quality

Its a great deal for the price. Pretty easy setup. Prints fast and easy to use. The wireless worked great on my laptop and phone. The only downside so far is the wireless connection to computer was giving us some problems. Still trying to figure it out

Cheap and efficient

I did need to get a new printer and this one came on sale at good price and it is the same as what I was using but much, much newer. I did need something simple to operate. It was easy to add it the the laptop but I do not like that we have to get all info. online. And even online, I have not got all the info. to work everything yet. It does print nicely and scan and sent to the printer. I still have some learning to do but I like the way it work. Will say more later. Seem to be a good printer for my needs.

Good

I like the printer, however the ink ran out so fast!  The directions were useless!!  I am still trying to figure out how to use the scan. The whole thing has been frustrating!!

Mostly happy but a little frustrating!

[Employee of walmartcanada] Very hard to get it to print one page. Connectivity goes in and out and my printer is close to the modem. I bet if it was a wired printer that it would work way better. Takes forever to get it to stay connected long enough to print a few pages. The actual pages themselves come out ok. Just the getting it to actually print part thats really annoying.

Connectivity issues

I read other reviews and really hoped that I wasn't going to be one of the people to have so many issues with this printer.  Sadly I've had none stop problems. 
The printer is nice and compact, light weight, straight forward to set up out of the box.  However, I cannot get it to connect properly to my computer or print properly when it does. 
The wifi signal for this printer is so terrible, that being a few rooms away causes it to not connect and have printing errors every time.  It has issues connecting properly to other software that causes you to go through hidden settings just to figure out how to get it to think it can print, which it won't.  Also, canons own software feels so dated that the programs feel out of date just looking at them and their website is not very helpful.  Lastly once you do get it to print it has to be a standard letter size and no complicated photos or it'll print off centre and grainy. 
All in this should be good printer and it works for the most basic straight forward printing, if it connects.  But I would not recommend it even for that because the wifi is terrible, the smart phone app doesn't connect to it and the printing is blurry or grain.

Won't connect and prints blurry when it does

Worst printer to buy. This printer I bought doesn't connect to mobile or laptop. I'm unable to return this product due to Walmart policies now. I guess it is not the problem with printer model but with the products chosen/handled by Walmart. Their online products are a joke. They return policy for online shopping is a mockery of consumers. I'm done with online shopping from Walmart and immediately deleting the app from my phone.

Worst printer

It doesn't have ink for 10 pages and its Hard to get connected to wifi. Spend little more go with other companies and don't buy canon printer are cheap but not worth it

The printer doesn't want to connect to wifi. Therefore i cannot print via phone or laptop. There is no cable connection to do it manually and there is no manual to use to see it quickly. The apps doesn't help to solve the problem
