This is my second color laser jet printer. My first was an HP which after 3 years died.  I have enjoyed many Canon products in the past and this printer doesn't fall short of my expectations.  The supplied ink has provided bright colors with no residue. The printer is quick to respond after pressing the print button in my program.  Compared to other laser jet printers, the sound is same to slightly quieter.  Great value! Great product!
Though I have only had the product a few days before writing this, I feel the future will be positive.

Fits my needs, has saved me money overall

Prints well in both black/white and color.  For photos I would still suggest an inkjet printer.  On windows 11 you can use the generic windows print drivers and are not forced to download Cannons software,.

Affordable Color Laser printer

This the second Canon Laser printer I've purchased. The first one still works fine after 5 years, just needed to add another printer for the office. I would definitely recommend this printer for any small business setting.

Dependable

I've had my recently purchased color laser printer for over a month and I'm still having issues connecting my MacBook Pro to the printer via WiFi.  No such problem with my other Windows PC.  Frustrating nightmare.  I've finally decided to simply hardwire the connection via the USB port.

Printer was easy to setup and was able to start printing in under 20 minutes. The printer came with starter cartridges, which were helpful. Very spotty ability to print wirelessly. Printer either becomes unavailable or doesn't show up, then eventually appears. Poor ability to print from iPhone 16. Understood that the color is limited to 600dpi, I couldn't give it even that high of quality, rather spotty. Overall, couldn't recommend this printer

Not reliable

We purchased this printer December 2024 and absolutely loved it. We'd been using it, only personally so no business/commercial usage and it started printing lighter in odd color combinations and its darker on the left side than the right, it's not printing quality prints at all. 

So, I replaced all of the starter cartridges but it's still not printing the colors as dark and beautiful as they were supposed to be. I need not have bothered, the starter cartridges were still 70% full, so, it's the printer itself. We can't return it now so just a $300-$400 paperweight or black only. Great job, Canon.
