Assembly

Instructions

Lack of clear written guidance hinders assembly process.

Requires significant time and effort to set up.

Gave it a 4 overall BUT I will break-down my review. For starters, the building instructions are pictures-only, no words. I like this but some people may not. There is some measuring involved and I can surely see how it'd be tricky as a solo person job. Me and my father built it in 6 hours. Get some help. *Panels*: they are a bit flimsy but the material is indeed shatter-proof, but not dent proof. I can surely see golf ball sized hail or larger knocking the panels out of the grooves. I suggest sealing the panels in with silicone sealer or such. Panels are crystal clear! Will let in pretty much 100% of sun rays which is good! Panels are also a bit tricky to peel apart from each other out of the package due to static electricity and they do have a VERY crisp edge...WEAR GLOVES when peeling them apart r you may cut yourself. *Engineering*: It's designed fairly well. There are some minor gaps where rain gets in, which isn't a bad thing actually! It's not like it floods the inside. I do wish the ventilated door hinges had a more open vent setting. It's either they vent just a few inches or open up completely. An in-between option would have been nice. Also, the plastic trays where you are supposed to put soil are rather flimsy. Honestly this is better as a seed starting greenhouse using small pots or cups instead of dumping soil right in the trays. You can COMFORTABLY fit 96, 8-ounce solo cups in the trays. 96...that's a lot and that's comfortably, you can fit more if you squeeze em in like sardines! The sliding doors are also very flimsy. A firm impact from a soccer ball would dent them so be aware around kids. *Greenhouse effect*: THIS is where it earns its stars. It's been upper 20s here lately at night but the inside at night stays above freezing! Today it was 46 outside during the day but sunny. Greenhouse effect really kicked in! It got up to 78 in the house! As you can imagine, in spring and summer the doors will HAVE to be vented or left totally open as not even cacti would survive. I bet you could cook an egg inside it come summer if doors were left closed. I'm in Texas by the way. Condensation also holds which is also good. *Price*: Overpriced. Plain and simple. If the panels, doors, and soil trays were sturdier I'd say it would be worth every penny. I'd tag it at 150 dollars if I was in charge of pricing it. 350 is way over.
Would I recommend? Listen, the storage underneath is THE game changer. I bought it for that actually. I'd recommend it, sure. You are overpaying though. Also Palram DOES have replacement parts!! It weighs about 55 pounds. Mine's lasted through 45 mph winds already. I'd recommend finding a wooden pallet, then go and buy a 4x4 sheet of plywood, screw plywood onto pallet, THEN build greenhouse on top and screw greenhouse to it. If winds blows THAT over, you're gonna have worse damage than just the greenhouse haha!

I found the initial setup to be a bit of a challenge, especially since the instructions lacked some key details. That said, after spending a bit more time than anticipated, I can't argue with the results. My plants are flourishing, and the greenhouse is sturdy as a rock.

Not Easy to Build, But Does the Job

The assembly process could be better. I found myself backtracking a few times due to some confusing steps in the manual. But now that it's complete, the greenhouse is performing admirably. It's been particularly good at keeping pests away from my plants.

Wrestled with Assembly, Happy with Outcome

The assembly wasn't as straightforward as I'd hoped. The manual had some unclear sections that required a bit of improvisation. However, once I got past those hurdles, I was pleased with how solid the greenhouse feels and how well it maintains the interior environment.

Tough to Assemble, But Holds Up

The setup was cumbersome and took a whole afternoon to complete. The manual was ambiguous in places, causing some initial confusion. However, the time and effort have paid off. The greenhouse is now a cornerstone of my garden, providing a controlled environment for my plants.

Frustrating to Put Together, But Sturdy Now

I must admit, the assembly was a struggle, partly because the labeling on some parts was incorrect. After some head-scratching and a bit of rework, it's now fully functional. I'm impressed by how well it's holding up, especially during inclement weather.

Hard to Build, Easy to Use

Setting it up was a two-person job and took longer than expected. The instruction manual was vague in some parts, which made it more challenging. Despite the initial struggle, the greenhouse is now up and running, and it's doing an excellent job protecting my plants.

A Bit of a Struggle, But Got There in the End

It took a lot of patience to assemble this greenhouse. Some holes didn't line up correctly, and we had to make some adjustments. But once it was all set up, it turned out to be a robust and efficient space for my gardening needs.

Challenging Build, Decent Results

This plant Inn is adorable but is less than expected in quality for the price. I am using it for tomato plants and was able to fit 16 plants inside. They seem to be doing well so far. It took more time than expected to put this Inn together. We live in a windy area so we will need to anchor down the Inn just in case a heavy wind passes. (It is pretty heavy with the dirt inside). The dirt basin is not very deep so I had to build up the sides to get a deeper level of soil in it. All in all it looks nice on my patio.

I'm still unable to assemble the Plant Inn as some of the parts are missing. Since I cannot connect with the shipper, I'll return the kit without assembling because the plastic is quite flimsy and won't withstand even the slightest wind. I won' set myself up for another disappointment.
