Our studio is in the Virgin Islands and we've had quite a bit of trouble fitting several students with pointe shoes. After trying 4 oher styles, unsuccessfully, on one student, our order of Capezio Contempora shoes arrived and we immediately experienced a perfect fit!!

I wore Contemporas back in the day (1980's and 90's) and was happy to see the Capezio is still making them when I started on pointe again a few years ago. They are the right shape for my foot, break in well, and last a couple of months with pointe 3x per week. The one update I'd suggest is an elastic drawstring.

The right shoe

These shoes are the same ones my daughter has been dancing in for several years and they are the best! She has very narrow foot and these fit so nicely. Customer service has been excellent!!

Wonderful

My daughter has long narrow and tapered feet, we tried many beads and finally settle with Capezio Contempora. She feels confident in these shoes and is fully on the box when dancing.

I am an older, recreational dancer, living remotely in a small town. I wore Capezio's very comfortably 50 years ago, but have not used them recently. Chose Contempora by the descriptives, followed recommendations for size, and they fit.
