Well, I've played the adult version, and this is much more tame, but don't let that deceive you!  There is quite a bit of potty humor in this, and for the dirty-minded, you can come up with a lot of innuendo.

That said, this is really fun, but I recommend older kids…

Fun for Older Kids

Bought this for Texas winter weekend when everything was canceled and we were stuck inside most of the time. This game is super fun! Played with my kids 8-15 and they all had some good laughs. Would 10/10 recommend for a family game.

if you are a fan of cards against humanity, the family edition is perfect when there are kids around. a majority of the "inappropriate " cards revolve around poop. there are definitely card combos that grown ups will enjoy. the only thing I would have like to see would have been using the same size card and card backs as the regular game. I never thought I would play cards against humanity with my 8yr old. great game.

the game is very fun, there were some cards probably not appropriate for family deoending on family but easy fix.  my family had a blast playing, even my 7 year old!

Great for anyone over 10. Little questionable for 8 or 9 year olds.

Very fun

Game is pretty funny and got a lot of giggles, but I'm so disappointed that they call this a Family Edition when it has cards like this - see photo. Bummer that they think  families want to laugh at things like this. We'll throw out a several of the cards, or color over them and write our own, more funny and appropriate topics. Otherwise it would have gotten 4-5 stars. Sort your cards first!!

Funny idea, still inappropriate

Based on reviews I thought my kids around age 9 would really enjoy this game as they play many board games but it's just deciding which card is funniest. You are meant to read every card in consideration of the situation at hand and decide who's is funniest. My kids and I didn't find the cards to be funny for long. If you have several players it can take some time to get through a round. We lost interest pretty quickly and reach for our board games pretty quickly so I'm a little disappointed.

Not as great as I thought

Wow. I went through the cards and took out A LOT that I didn't like.  Putting an apple in a little boys mouth and roasting him for dinner was one. Peeing on my poopy was another. Peeing in everyone elses mouths or something like that was another.   Republican, Democrat, Obama, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Greta Thunberg etc just such an odd mix. Not for us really.
