Price

Bought two of these tires for my boat trailer. They are a good solid tire with ample tread, no sway while towing. I have put 1900 highway towing miles on the tires and then still look new.

Great Trailer Tire

The two trailer tires with mounting and new valve stems were less expensive than most places were charging for one tire/rim combination.  Walmart will NOT remove tire from trailer or install tire on trailer.  It is simply mounting, valve stem, and disposal fee on old tire.  This process seemed to confuse some of the folks at Walmart because it was an exception to almost all of the ways they mount and install car tires. But it was all worth the savings.

Replacement Utility (Boat) Trailer Tires

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's exactly what I was looking for.

The tires I received have a date code of 3518, almost 2 years old.  Trailer tires that do not get daily use and wear out will need replaced in 5-6 years anyway because they dry rot from age or you can roll the dice and take your chances and use them longer.  These are already about a 1/3 past their expected life when I got them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product wasn't up the standard of the Carlisle (old name of brand) tires they replaced.  But what is these days?  Tread was narrower even though tires are the same 4.80 - 12.  I'm sure they will work fine.

Nowhere in the description did it say TIRE ONLY. Picture made me think that the RIM was included.

DOT information shows tire almost 3 years old. Tire  made in week 42 of 2017, this is week 24 of 2020. Trailer tire usually good for 3 years until possible replacement.

Old Tire

Actual tire treads are different from the picture and the quality is questionable. There are big letters on the side showing made in China. The center treads are very narrow.
